Test Equipment Maintenance Engineer
This role encompasses all disciplines with exposure to various mechanical systems, electrical systems, electronic systems, products, and technologies.
Working within the Manufacturing Engineering team, the Test Systems Support Engineer provides through-life technical support for those test systems used in the manufacture, engineering, systems testing, and qualification of aviation products and components.
**Job Description**
**Roles and Responsibilities**
+ The Test Systems Engineer will be responsible for investigating and resolving failures on Test Systems.
+ Working in engineering and production environments.
+ The engineer will be capable of diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and electronic failures, also identifying design changes for improved reliability and performance.
+ The role requires a close working relationship with the engineering team, handling of multiple tasks and the ability to respond to changing priorities whilst still delivering against task completion commitments.
+ Broadening knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy. May include support roles with specialized technical field of knowledge; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills.
+ Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
+ May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
+ A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills and may be required to lead a junior team. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Explains technical information to others.
**Required Qualifications**
+ This role requires basic experience in the Manufacturing & Production Process and Equipment. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university

- Assisting in local projects to optimise site performance and regulatory compliance.
- Updating production documentation as required via the change control process
- Raise, investigate and document deviations to the manufacturing processes
- Utilise the software available for stock control, ensuring accurate deductions and additions to stock levels
- To assist wherever required within the Production department
About you:
- Experience in the supervision of Production Operators within a CGMP environment
- Sound understanding of the regulatory and compliance requirements of the business particularly with regards to Quality, Environmental and H&S (Health & Safety)
- Good communicate and interpersonal skills
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office
