Our long-established automotive Client in Newark is seeking a skilledBody Repair Technician to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
The Role
The key duties performed by theBody Repair Technician will include, but not be limited to:
- Replacing damaged bodywork components
- Refitting and repairing GRP and aluminium panels
- Rebuilding wooden cabinets and internal structures
- Carrying out repairs
- Working to manufacturer and industry standards
- Diagnosing issues
The Candidate
The successfulBody Repair Technician will be able to demonstrate:
- Experience in a Bodyshop environment within the automotive industry
- Commercial vehicle bodywork
- Motorhome or caravan repair / manufacturing knowledge or experience
- Understanding of materials including GRP, aluminium and timber
- Proficiency in hand and power tools
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
Ideally, you will possess relevant NVQ / City & Guilds qualifications.

We’re recruiting an IMI Level 3 Body Repair Technician at North London Workshop on a Permanent contract, with the potential to earn over £42,000 per annum.
Working Hours: Full time - 39.5 hours per week, working between 6:00 and 14:30 Monday to Friday.

As a Vehicle Body Repair Technician, you’ll perform a full range of vehicle body repairs ranging from small dents to major accident repairs and panel replacement on all types of vehicles in our fleet – one of Europe’s largest. Working on our smaller vans right up to our HGVs and mechanical equipment, you’ll receive extensive training and full induction to ensure you have the skills to complete the job.
