Requirements
As a Land & Development Consultant your main responsibility will be to source and negotiate acquisition of land for development opportunities, selling our sales and lettings services and conveyancing, to meet agreed performance targets.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a tenacious and ambitious property professional who has a good understanding of both the residential and commercial property markets, as you will have the opportunity to be involved in some highly regarded projects and can learn from real experts in the field.
As a Land & Development Consultant, your daily activities will consist of;
- Source and target opportunities for potential new developments
- Produce development appraisals and market analysis for specific sites / locations
- Perform weekly touting
- Attend site visits
- Negotiate offers to acquire land on behalf of clients
- Provide client feedback
The successful candidate will have/be;
- Previous and recent work experience in a similar Land / Development sales role would be preferable OR a proven track record of achieving sales targets in the property industry
- A good understanding of the role of a Land Consultant within the residential & commercial sales and lettings sector, and can explain processes and responsibilities regards plans/contracts/tenancy agreements, deposits, invoices, arrears, tenancies etc
- Ability to work independently combined with excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong sales, negotiation and articulate communication skills
- Tenacious and resilient with a drive to succeed

We're working with a long-established, independent civil and structural engineering consultancy based in Lisburn, who are looking to bring a Civil Engineering Technician into their established office of around 20 staff.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a tight-knit team delivering quality work on a local scale - no red tape, no layers of bureaucracy, just the chance to take real ownership of your work and play a key role in the successful delivery of projects.
The business works across a broad range of civil infrastructure projects including residential developments, commercial schemes, and education/healthcare sites. As a Technician, you'll be producing drawings and technical information for drainage, roads, earthworks and utilities - using PDS/Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
You'll be working closely with Engineers and Directors on live projects, seeing things through from concept to completion and getting real exposure to the technical and commercial side of the work including site visits and client liaison.
What you'll be doing:
Preparing drawings and detailing for a range of civil infrastructure schemes (drainage, roads, levels, utilities)
Supporting engineers with civil design using AutoCAD and PDS/Civil 3D
Liaising with local authorities, utility companies and other consultants where required
Helping compile design packages for planning, technical approvals and construction
Attending occasional site visits and team meetings (all local to the office)
Working closely with senior engineers and directors in a small, supportive team environment
What they're looking for:
HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or similar technical qualification
Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD; Civil 3D experience preferred (training can be provided if needed)
Previous experience producing detailed drawings for drainage and road design
Familiarity with DMRB, Sewers for Adoption, Building Control and NI Roads Service standards would be ideal
Good communication skills and a willingness to learn and develop
Someone who enjoys being part of a team and wants to take ownership of their work
