Our site in Alconbury, Cambridgeshire is currently recruiting for a **Building Maintenance Technician** to join the team on a full-time basis.
The role of the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for all maintenance and repairs on-site, working to ensure our day-day operations continue to run smoothly.
Core hours will be Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm, where you will work alongside an established and friendly team with full training provided.
**Job responsibilities include:**
+ Assisting Maintenance Engineering team with maintenance and repair of site plant and engineering systems.
+ Working individually on maintenance tasks as assigned by Team Leader.
+ Undertaking daily plant checks including: steam boiler blowdown, L8 water compliance, AHU, chillers, AC units, sewage treatment plant etc.
+ Undertaking building fabric repairs: door alignment, drainage repairs, minor decoration etc.
+ Carrying out PPMs on sewer plant.
+ Liaising with and escort contractors.
+ Site waste collection.
+ Forklift and tractor driving.
+ Operation of MEWP.
+ Updating IT based PPM systems
+ Communicating daily with Team Leader and maintenance team
+ Reporting all plant failures
