The company is seeking an experienced Demand Planning Manager to take responsibility for the inventory levels to ensure optimal supply chain operations. This role will involve working with a well-established team and collaborating with other departments to develop consistently reliable demand forecasts.
Role Description
- To provide management team with clear, accurate production data
- Ensure inventory levels are optimal and backorders are minimal
- Produce accurate costings and financial statements for manufacturing

We are seeking a seasoned Global Demand Planning Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our Centre of Excellence team. The Global Demand Planning SME plays a key role in building a competitive supply chain that delivers on our promise of Forever Caring.
This role is instrumental in advancing the maturity of our demand planning processes by collaborating with supply chain leadership, IT, and other stakeholders to develop a global standard for demand planning across all business units and geographies.

**Your key duties and responsibilities:**
+ Serve as the SME within the CoE, providing strategic leadership and technical expertise in global demand planning and inventory optimization.
+ Be the demand planning lead for the design, implementation, including UAT, and optimization of SAP IBP and SAP S/4HANA systems to support end-to-end supply chain processes.
+ Standardise and harmonise demand planning and inventory strategies across all business units, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
+ Collaborate with Business Unit Supply Chain Leads to drive consensus forecasting and inventory target setting.
+ Act as a bridge between supply chain, IT, and external partners to ensure successful system implementations and upgrades.
+ Provide expert training and support to regional and local planning teams on IBP functionalities and best practices.
+ Monitor and analyse key planning KPIs, including forecast accuracy, inventory turns, and service levels, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

+ Working within the CoE team to drive continuous improvement in systems and processes throughout the Supply Chain.
+ Be the point of contact for the BU leads providing support and guidance on all demand planning processes.

+ Support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for demand planning discrepancies or process inefficiencies.
**Skills & Experience:**
+ **Minimum of five years' experience working with or implementing SAP S/4HANA** , specifically with an emphasis on demand planning functionalities (must have).
+ **At least five years' experience with SAP IBP for demand** , including hands-on expertise in inventory optimization.
+ Proven track record in working with Planner Workspace, Analytic Stories and Fiori demand planning apps.
+ Strong ability to translate complex IT and project terminology into clear, practical language for supply chain teams.
+ Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is highly desirable.
+ Demonstrated leadership skills with strategic vision and a dedication to achieving excellence.
+ A passion for demand planning, with a deep understanding of its value to business performance.

**Qualifications/Education:**

+ In-depth knowledge of supply chain principles, including demand planning, inventory optimization.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex, data-driven decision-making processes.
+ Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with experience working in a Centre of Excellence or similar environment.
