Job Description
We are seeking a capable and motivated Product Control & Risk IT Analyst with a strong background in supporting Finance and Risk functions within investment banking environments. This role requires proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis and automation, complemented by working knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI. The ideal candidate will contribute to both run-the-bank support and change-the-bank initiatives, focusing on system enhancements for product control and risk management. With exposure to multiple asset classes, this professional should exhibit strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily run-the-bank support for Product Control and Risk IT, ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery of reports to Finance and Risk teams.
- Assist in change-the-bank initiatives, including enhancements to reporting systems and integration across multiple legal entities.
- Collaborate with developers to write and maintain SQL queries and contribute to the development of dashboards and reporting tools, such as Power BI.
- Work closely with stakeholders in Risk, Finance, and IT to gather business requirements, document processes, and support solution design.
- Participate in team meetings, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions to foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to initiatives involving new product onboarding, regulatory reporting updates, and automation of manual processes.
Essential Skills
- Experience in investment banking or financial services, with exposure to Product Control, Risk, or Finance IT functions.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis.
- Familiarity with Python and Power BI is advantageous.
- Understanding of financial products and control processes across asset classes.
- Ability to support run-the-bank operations and contribute to structured project work with strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience collaborating across teams and functions.

The Role
It is now looking for a New Business Sales professional to drive new revenue across Retail POS – think high-visibility campaigns, with order values ranging from £1 K to million.
You’ll report directly to the Sales Director – a genuinely down-to-earth leader with realistic expectations and zero interest in micromanaging. You’ll be supported by its in-house Marketing team and dedicated Client Services and Estimating staff who will assist you in managing day-to-day delivery.
Your mission:
- Identify, target, and win new business in retail POS
- Build lasting relationships with major retail brands
- Present our full offering, including POS production, creative, and technology solutions
- Work smart – you’ll earn uncapped commission on new business

- A background in POS sales – ideally with manufacturing know-how
- A self-sufficient, lively personality – someone who loves the thrill of the chase
- Strategic thinking with the drive to open doors and close deals
- Strong knowledge of the retail landscape and key industry players
