Requirements

• Bags of enthusiasm
• A customer service-oriented background, ie previous experience working in a bar, restaurant, shop etc
• Applicants must have the unrestricted right to live and work in the UK and travel freely throughout the network, this includes Pre-Settled status holders.
• You must be approximately between 5 "2 (157 cm) and 6" 2 (188 cm) in height.
• You must be able to swim 25 meters unaided.
• It helps if you are hardworking, flexible and have an outgoing and friendly personality.
• Adaptable and happy to work a shift roster.
• Enjoy dealing with the public and have the ability to provide excellent customer service with a 'can do' attitude.

Working Hours: Monday- Thursday7.45 – 4.30 Friday 07.45 – 3.30

The Role of The Maintenance Operative:

• Refurbish and fit out the complete range of modular buildings to the highest possible standards.
• You will work on the new and used Portacabins in a production environment  
• The company offers a wide range of training and upskilling throughout the employment.
• You will for the first few months shadow another team member who will give training and support.

Duties of the Cabin Fitter:

• Rip out and Clean the portacabins once back from site.
• Painting and Decorating to the internal and external of the building
• Basic Joinery, partition walls, doors and windows.
• Plumbing duties, sink and toilet assembly, waste and drainage, copper and push fit fittings
• Electrics of sockets, heaters, lighting etc, supporting in the preparation and first fix, under the supervision of an electrician.
• General Fit out and Refurb both on and off site
• Installation and Dismantling of all buildings.
• Maintenance of Tools
• Report any damages to the team

Requirements: 

• Maintenance or Handyman Experience
• Ideally Offsite or Modular experience
• Basic Joinery and Construction Skills

• Aircraft Technicians are expected to apply a high level of engineering practices to their duties and to fully communicate their actions with their colleagues and supervisors.
• Ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed to the correct standard of Airworthiness.

• Refurbish seating from Economy Class to state of the art Business seats.
• Galleys fitting and building.

Cabin Fitter / Plumber role within our cabin workshop

We have a position available within our portable cabin refurbishment workshop for a motivated, knowledgeable and hard working individual to join our team as a plumber/cabin fitter

The job is located at our Manchester premises in Miles Platting which has been our home for over 30 years. We carry out a wide range of cabin refurbishment projects which include bespoke designs, external customer refurbishments and the servicing and repairing of sale cabins. The plumbing role within the company will require the employee to have a sound knowledge and be competent at fitting kitchens, toilets, showers, sinks etc as well as carrying water tests. The candidate must also be able to work as part of the team and be able to carry out a variety of tasks within the workshop.

What you need to be a successful candidate?

To be a successful candidate for the job,you must have the knowledge, experience and willingness to carry out any of the following jobs/trades whenever required:

» Have a full set of tools for the job

» Experience in basic plumbing of kitchen, toilets, showers installations as well as testing

» Full driving licence

» Full UK driving licence

» Good physical condition and stamina

» Salary negotiable depending on experience

Normal work schedule:
Monday - Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm but overtime is available and Saturday work.
