Are you an experienced HVAC Project Manager with the tools experience looking to progress and join a rapidly growing, industry-leading company?
My client runs national contracts and has over 25 years of experience and expertise in air conditioning and refrigeration. Providing a perfect environment for our customers, by combining the industry's leading Air Conditioning and Refrigeration equipment and keeping at the forefront of technological developments by providing a complete backup service.
They provide professional HVAC design and installation services for all business types, regardless of sector. This includes small single-unit installations right through to large commercial systems.
Role & Responsibilities
- Compile tender/bid activity and carry out project estimating li>Review technical design aspects of system proposals li>Value engineer projects li>Manage project costs and project P&L li>Attend pre-start and project meetings li>Produce and manage project H&S plans, RAMS etc li>Produce and agree project programs li>Coordinate services with other trades li>Source and procure plant items i.e. air handling units, air conditioning, cold-rooms.
- Source and procure sub-contractors: ductwork, controls, air conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing, pipework and insulation li>Check and sign off invoices li>Snag and quality control installations li>Manage all commissioning activities li>Produce O&M manuals li>Prepare and submit monthly applications and variations
The Ideal Candidate
- < i>A highly experienced Refrigeration & Air conditioning engineer, with a minimum NVQ Level 2 qualification in Refrigeration & Air conditioning, you will be F-Gas/EN 378 compliant li>Off the tools in a supervisor/PM role for 2 years li>A high level of interpersonal skills -good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write reports. li>You will be confident in your own ability li>Strong problem-solving skills, you will have a "can do" attitude li>Full Driving licence

About the role
Produce accurate and detailed CAD models & technical drawings for the manufacture of Unibox products & bespoke requirements against customer focussed design briefs. Liaising with multiple departments, being the key design contact on live projects with sales (and sometimes customers), Project Management, Procurement, Production & Installation teams.
