This CAD based role involves working on a wide variety of projects within our Electronics Design function. Working alongside our team of Mechanical and Electronic Engineers, you will be responsible for the specification, routing, packaging, and installation of Electromechanical systems, working closely alongside our Electronics designers. You will be required to carry out fault investigation and resolution of allocated issues. You will be working with various disciplines across the design function.

- You will be educated to degree level or equivalent.
- Possess a strong understanding of the systems used within the Motorsport, Aerospace or Automotive industries.
- You will have experience in producing robust design solutions and working as part of a small multi skilled engineering group.
- Experience in the use of Computer Aided Design Harness packages. (Ideally Unigraphics NX12) would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities
- Site Layouts – Develop site-specific layouts for existing or new infrastructure using SolidWorks.
- Technical Drawing/Drafting – Producing 2D CAD (and possibly 3D CAD) drawings in DWG format for steam and condensate routing, electrical power and control systems, civil works and other areas
- Interfaces - Detailing interface requirements foundations, flanges, cables.

Essential Requirements

- Ability to read and produce P&IDs, control schematics and routing layouts
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Produce accurate and detailed CAD models & technical drawings for the manufacture of Unibox products & bespoke requirements against customer focussed design briefs. Liaising with multiple departments, being the key design contact on live projects with sales (and sometimes customers), Project Management, Procurement, Production & Installation teams.
