The Role:
Calshot Activities Centre is one of the largest outdoor activities Centres in the UK and is one of four outdoor Centres that makes up Hampshire Outdoor Centres (HOC).
Situated in a unique position on the shores of the Solent, the facilities at the Centre include a state-of-the-art climbing wall, the only indoor velodrome on the South coast, and a dry ski slope.
The café at the Centre is in our main Sunderland Hangar and serves the many thousands of varied visitors throughout the year.
Your role as Café Assistant is to prepare and serve a range of simple hot and cold meals, drinks, sandwiches, and snacks and to deliver an excellent catering service.
What you'll do:
As a Catering Assistant, you'll help prepare and serve a variety of simple hot and cold meals, snacks, and drinks, while delivering excellent customer service.
You'll actively promote and sell products, carry out stock checks, and maintain accurate records.
The role includes cleaning duties to uphold hygiene standards, supporting health and safety protocols, and completing basic administrative tasks. Flexibility is key, as you'll work across different areas of the unit, communicate effectively with colleagues, and respond appropriately to accidents or emergencies.
Training will be provided and expected to be completed as required.
What we're looking for:
