RightTime Care are seeking Compassionate and Experienced Complex Care HCA's and Support Workers to provide high-quality, person-centred care to individuals with complex needs, including mental health conditions, learning disabilities, autism, acquired brain injuries, and challenging behaviours.
You will be responsible for delivering specialist support to patients in community-based or residential settings, helping them maintain independence and improving their quality of life.
Role: Complex Care HCA
Location: Various care packages across the Lancashire area
Pay: Competitive rates (paid weekly)
Shifts: Rota – Block Bookings
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 or 2:1 support to individuals with complex needs.
Assist with daily living tasks, medication administration, and behavioural support.
Work alongside nurses, social workers, and multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) to ensure tailored care plans are followed.
Support individuals transitioning from hospital discharge into community settings.
Implement positive behaviour support (PBS) strategies and de-escalation techniques.
Maintain accurate care records and report concerns in line with safeguarding policies.
Encourage independence, social inclusion, and personal development.
Requirements:
Previous experience in complex care, mental health, or learning disabilities.
Level 2 or 3 Health & Social Care qualification (preferred but not essential).
Experience with challenging behaviours, autism, or forensic mental health (desirable).
Training in MAPA, PMVA, or Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) (desirable).
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply).
A driver’s licence is beneficial but not essential.
