What you will be doing:

• Using the training provided, assist those who we support by helping with daily tasks
• Be there to support in day to day life; such as social visits, family visits and also days out to some great, local attractions
• Keeping paperwork up to date to ensure everything is captured for each person who lives in the home
• Working positively with colleagues, families and external organisations to assist in supporting those who live in the home.

• A basic understanding of care is beneficial, but no formal experience is required.

Woodland Court is made up of 26 one bedroom and two-bedroom flats spread over four floors. The flats are spacious and furnished to a high specification with well equipped kitchens and a living/dining area. Each flat is equipped with a call point system so that support can be called for at the touch of a button.

Our person-led approach is driven through bespoke support plans and outcomes for people. Where required, our ethos of delivering support through the fundamental principles of Positive Behaviour Support is also in place. The primary aim of our PBS framework to improve our residents' quality of life.

What you'll be working:

Your hours are based on a rota working every other weekend.

• 42 hours per week

What you'll be doing:

• Supporting our clients with daily activities
• Supporting their care plans to establish routine
• Ensure the client feels safe, and stable within their day to day care
• Personal Care
• Administrating medication (if required)

They enjoy a variety of activities including going out for meals, to the pub, cinema, bowling, trips to the seaside, garden centres and afternoon tea just to name a few. Located just along Yew Tree Road, Southborough, Tunbridge Wells. Local shopping and bus routes. 

You must be willing to embrace all aspects of the role including, but not limited to, providing support with personal care, domestic tasks, and supporting individuals to access appointments,  social opportunities like day trips out to maximize their quality of life.  

Shift times vary.  We need you to be as flexible as possible across a 7-day rota! Drivers will be preferable.

Residential Support Worker Supported Accommodation (16 - 21)
Greater London 

Part-Time, Permanent (minimum 18 hours a week on a 3 shift pattern)

Salary: Dependent on experience

Are you passionate about supporting young people to achieve independence?
We're looking for a caring, resilient, and motivated Residential Support Worker to join our supported accommodation service for young people aged 16 - 21 , including care leavers and young parents.

• Encourage engagement in education, employment, or training .

• Promote positive routines, well-being, and emotional resilience.

• Complete records, risk assessments, and safeguarding reports.

• Help with housing and move-on plans , attending meetings and reviews.

• Work on a rota basis, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.

• Support young people with independent living skills such as cooking, budgeting, cleaning and organisation

• Minimum 1 year working with vulnerable young people (16 - 21)
• GCSE Maths & English (C/4 or above) Ofsted requirement
• Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
• Calm, patient, and empathetic under pressure
• Holds a, or is willing to complete Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification

Desirable: Driving licence, Level 3 Diploma, First Aid, Food Hygiene, or Trauma-Informed Practice training.
