About the role
May work in a range of operations functions in a warehouse or depot, in stock handling, forklift driving, mixing, blending, filling and other operations, as assigned by supervisor in charge.
As an operator, it will be your responsibility to:
  • The safe handling, filling and storage of chemical products to ensure compliance with legislation and operational requirements.
  • Pick and Check vehicle loads and confirm match customer order.
  • Load vehicles of supplies and ensure safe handling and dispatch to laid down operational procedures.

About our role

As Day Concierge your focus will be the supervision of the development ensuring a harmonious ambience where everything is geared to meet the needs and aspirations of those who live there. 

You will ensure we are fully compliant with everything relating to the health & safety of our development so we are looking for someone who ideally has buildings / property or facilities experience, as well as great face to face customer service skills with the ability to build strong relationships with our residents.

There is no such thing as a typical shift however you will lead on the following responsibilities

  • Provide an exceptional level of customer service and be the first point of contact for our owners and tenants
  • Carry out frequent building patrols whilst on duty, and record and report any issues in relation to the building and general standards
  • Manage access and security, including monitoring entry points, checking visitor identification, and ensuring only authorised individuals access the building.
  • Support with the day to day running of the development, liaising with our Onsite Management Team and contractors.  This may extend to occasional decision-making and problem-solving in the absence of our onsite management team.
  • Act as a first point of contact and handling residents’ inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, escalating issues to appropriate departments when necessary
  • Maintain accurate records and carry out a wide variety of administrative tasks, including daily operational diary management of the development 
  • Handling and management of deliveries, including receiving, signing for and managing packages, notifying residents and guests, and ensuring secure storage
  • Where possible, assist with movement of luggage or other personalised items
  • Assisting with administrative tasks, such as handling mail and messages for guests or residents
  • Recommending transportation services based on resident preferences and requirements
  • Keep communication friendly, open, timely and professional at all times 
  • Co-ordinate, instruct and allow access for services to the estate, such as refuse collection, deliveries, repairs and maintenance, utility companies
  • Build lasting relationships with our homeowners and their families

Additional information

You will work on a rota basis of 4 days on, 4 days off with shifts between 07:00 - 19:00 There may be times where you are required to attend training or company related events at site and/or other locations.

About you

You will be highly professional and well presented, your flexible approach, warmth, and insight will enable you to build relationships with all of our residents and onsite team. You’ll come from a high quality / luxury environment and have exceptional people skills.

  • Educated to GCSE standard grade C or above, or equivalent in Maths and English, or with hospitality / property related vocational qualifications 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written 
  • Strong IT skills are essential, knowledge of Google Workspace is an advantage
  • Well presented and highly professional
  • Flexible and well organised with the ability to use initiative and remain calm under pressure
  • Ability to resolve queries and complaints effectively in a calm and professional manner 
  • Knowledge of the local area and events including but not limited to restaurants, theatre scene, parkland, clubs and societies will be highly advantageous 
  • Experience of facilities/property ideally with a knowledge of health & safety would be an advantage but isn't essential
  • Experience of working a similar shift pattern is desirable but not essential

A day in the life of a Days Shift Engineer
Here at Purina we are moving to a line centric approach to help create efficiencies with our production. This role is a key role for the factory; working as part of an integrated Engineering team, ensuring maintenance activities are carried out whilst complying with all relevant Health and Safety Legislation and site standards. This role is responsible for a defined set of production assets in terms of the engineering strategy to support in driving your area to world class performance levels in safety, quality, cost and service.

Other key responsibilities:

  • To maintain the basic condition of the machines by means of reactive, preventative and predictive maintenance activities.
  • Driving a safe culture and eliminate safety risks.
  • Empowering and inspiring people by supporting the production team and developing their capability.
  • Ensure all work is completed to a good engineering standard following GMP and safe systems of work at all times.

What Will Make You Successful

**The Role**
+ Maintain domestic and processed water systems across campus.
+ Carry out planned maintenance tasks on all water systems to ensure compliance is upheld by undertaking weekly tap Flushing, monthly tap temperatures, Air Optimiser cleans and inspections, reverse osmosis inspections, CWST inspections.

This role is responsible for supporting the team with the development of new business opportunities and deliver customers' requirements without compromising our quality service. **What You'll Do:**
+ To support and drive the sales team with the negotiation and closing of sales opportunities.
+ To meet and exceed agreed sales targets as agreed by the Business Development Director and Divisional Managing Director.
+ Develop the skills required to successfully manage own sales opportunities by taking responsibility for sourcing own development opportunities and undertaking all opportunities available.
+ Develop and build professional customer relationships with existing, new and potential clients. Build relationships with operational managers and support functions. Maintain excellent relationships and after sales support to build mutual confidence in line with the agreed business strategy.
+ Develop and deliver exceptional sales and tender documents and presentations, in line with Company standards, using the specialist support functions (procurement, HR, QHS) as well as local managers and the BDM.
+ Raise the company profile by representing CBRE GWS at industry events, networking events and promoting an image of professionalism at all times.
+ Keep up-to-date with industry developments, maintaining awareness of competitor activity and market trends.
+ Work closely with the team to meet the sales targets agreed.
+ Ensure that appropriate sign-offs are adhered to.
+ Maintain records and relevant contract documentation in the support of tenders and re-bids for the Business.
