Sounds great, what will I be doing?

The role is designed as an integrated employment and mental health service to improve both mental health and employment outcomes. EAs are part of the employment team and work alongside clinicians to provide employment support to help  clients remain in work, return to work, or find employment. This takes the form of personalised support for the client backed up by an action plan detailing the client's employment goals and the actions that the client, the therapist, and the Employment Advisor agree to take to meet those goals.

You'll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires as well as match our values and mission. You don't have to tick all  the boxes right away; the important thing is that you're willing to learn. We also value lived experience of the areas we support, so if you feel comfortable, please do mention this on your application.

Here's what the team will be looking for

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience providing vocational support, including job search, CV development, interview coaching, and job retention, with a particular focus on supporting individuals with mental health conditions into, or in sustaining, employment.

They should have strong knowledge of employment law, the Equality Act, and reasonable adjustments, with the ability to advise on employer obligations and practical workplace solutions. Proven experience in building partnerships with employers, Jobcentre Plus, clinical teams, and community organisations is essential, along with strong networking skills to coordinate comprehensive support with wider agencies.

The role requires a person-centred approach, with experience in coaching and motivating service users while respecting their choices and aspirations. Strong case management and organisational skills are essential to manage varied caseloads, track outcomes, and maintain accurate reporting.

Knowledge of welfare benefits, including “better off” calculations, and the ability to signpost to additional support such as housing, financial advice, and legal services, is required. The candidate should also be confident liaising with external agencies such as Access to Work and Citizens Advice to enhance support for clients.

Kosnic Lighting have a fantastic opportunity for a talented Customer Services professional to join our exciting and growing company. This is not a call centre environment but you must have an excellent telephone manner and high attention to detail.

About the role:

  • The first point of contact for all customer queries
  • Process orders accurately and in timely manner
  • Ensure customers' experience with Kosnic is first class and liaise with other departments to deliver to customers' needs
  • Utilise commercial sense and sales skills to upsell or cross sell where appropriate
  • Provide support to the Key Account Manager and sales team
  • Assist with processing debit and credit notes and handling customer requests and complaints

About you:

  • A genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service and experience of working in a similar environment
  • Excellent telephone manner, showing versatility in your approach to each customer
  • Enjoys working in a small team
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Highly organised, flexible and willingness to learn about technical products
  • Enjoys helping others and have a friendly personality
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook and working with data systems (Odoo)
  • Strong organisational skills and methodical approach
  • A 'can do' attitude is essential, along with the desire to help others and resolve issues

Experience in a customer service role within an electrical or lighting industry would be ideal, however, full training will be provided so an eagerness to deliver excellent service, learn and be motivated is more important.

What youll be doing:
Always being on hand to serve and support customers on our checkouts, self-service tills, and kiosks or even our petrol stations, supporting with any questions and proactively offering help
Picking and selecting the best quality products on the shop floor for customers using our On-demand grocery ordering service and assisting customers with Click & Collect parcels.
Build great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to help provide recommendations
Dealing with complaints, refunds, shelf tickets and advertising
Working flexibly across the store as needed
