Nexus Care Services Ltd is currently recruiting Senior carers into its workforce. Their key role will be to communicate with clients /service users, Nexus management team, and carers to ensure we are providing person centred care to clients whilst keeping them comfortable and safe.
The Senior carer will also assist with the administration and maintenance of Client Care plans under the supervision of the operations managers and expected to maintain clinical records in a concise, accurate and timely manner whilst working as role models to all the company carers thus expected to train and mentor their progress.
Requirements
· Assisting clients in their own homes for personal care.
· Completion of Care Plan Documentation and all electronic data entries as requested/needed.
· Maintenance of the clients MARS charts (Digital moving forward) and Task Sheets to ensure administration of medication as prescribed by the GP and packed in a blister pack by the administering Pharmacy.
· Communicate any concerns directly to a Nexus Operations Managers and document in the clients Care Plan.
· Supervise carers in the field and be able to work in a team and assist other carers when required to complete a “double up” call.
· Be able to do spot check following under the Supervision of the Operations Manager
· Attend trainings courses required by the company and contribute to improving safety and quality of care to clients.
· Attend one-to-one reviews when required to.
· Complete Client Reviews when required to and contribute to integrated care.
· Assist in the supervision, training and shadowing of newly appointed carers when asked to by a manager.
· Collection of month end paperwork to be uploaded to be uploaded onto clients digital file (including MARS to be audited by the operations manager)
· Be able to work in the office when required using company systems currently in place. Training will be provided if required.
