Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage all day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
- Ensure the accurate and timely processing of all orders, meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
- Manage and maintain optimal inventory levels, conducting regular stocktakes and cycle counts.
- Oversee the effective use of warehouse space, equipment, and resources.
- Lead, train, and develop a team of warehouse supervisors, leads, and associates, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Implement and enforce strict health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and carriers as needed.
- Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory, manage orders, and generate performance reports.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in warehouse management.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on operational performance to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics operations, with a strong focus on operational leadership.
- Proven experience managing large teams in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- In-depth knowledge of WMS software and its application in optimizing warehouse functions.
- Strong understanding of lean logistics principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement operational strategies and KPIs.
- Proficiency in health and safety regulations within a warehouse setting.
- Experience with inventory control techniques and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
