- Competent user of Microsoft Office tools.
- Commitment to safe laboratory practices and quality standards.
Preferred

As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, testing, fault diagnosis, and repair of a wide variety of electrical equipment and systems. You will play a critical role in ensuring safe and efficient plant operations in a highly regulated environment.
Typical equipment includes power generation and distribution systems (Single phase/three phase LV), Earthing systems, switch panels, transformers, motors, generators lighting systems, and circuit protection devices (Fuses, MCBs, Relays, RCDs, thermal overloads).
Electrical maintenance technicians are expected to be able to diagnose the causes of electrical or electromechanical malfunctions or failures of operational equipment in a prompt and efficient manner. They must be able to interpret maintenance specifications, engineering drawings and wiring diagrams to achieve many of their day-to-day objectives.

The Role and Responsibilities
EnerMech have long term opportunities for Chemical Cleaning & Flushing Technicians to work on projects based at the Rosyth shipyard, working on Type 31 frigates. As part of the construction phase of these frigates we will be carrying out chemical cleaning, flushing and particle counting activities, as well as some bolting. We are open to considering candidates working as staff, PAYE contractor or limited company.
The Requirements
To be successful for this role you will have a safety first approach, experience of working with pressure, high flows and some bolting experience. Particle counting experience is essential. You will stay within a commutable distance of Rosyth. Previous experience working at Rosyth shipyard is beneficial but not essential.
