Cyber Security Consultant -AI, CISSP, Risk

My client is a London-based Insurer who are looking to hire a Cyber Security Consultant with CISSP certification, working knowledge of AI (Artificial Intelligence) and Risk to work on a new AI solution being implemented.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in Cyber Security as a Cyber Security Analyst / Cyber Security Consultant
• Working knowledge of AI (Artificial Intelligence) within IT Security / Info Security / Cyber Security
• CISSP / CISM certification
• Previous experience of working in a Cloud related environment
• Experience of conducting Risk Assessments within a Technology environment
• Strong knowledge of Risk Management frameworks (ISO 27005, EBIOS)
• Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical jargon to non-technical audiences
• Strong Stakeholder Management skills
• Flexible approach towards hybrid working (must be able to commit to 3 days per week onsite each week)

Nice to have:

• Familiarity of working within Agile frameworks (SAFe)

Security Engineer – 3 Month Contract – Hybrid – London - Proofpoint

My client, a global business, is looking for an experienced Security Engineerto provide SME level expertise to an email security project - migrating Mimecast to Proofpoint.

The successful candidate must have expert level, hands-on experience using Proofpoint, including the setup of policies, general configuration and knowledge transfer.

The project has come about to align the customers global email security posture and so is a key project within the businesses road map.

Key Responsibilities of the Security Engineer:

• Assist with Proofpoint policy configuration setup for multiple regions across Europe.
• Provide ongoing hands-on support within a migration from Mimecast to Proofpoint.
• Supporting the setup of TAP Isolation, Account Takeover Protection and Encryption.
• Monitoring Proofpoint logs and contributing to the IP reputation building efforts
• Participation in working sessions with end users to strengthen the company’s security posture.
• Support DMARC domain enrolment and validation within Proofpoint

Skills and Technology used by the Security Engineer:

• Must have Proven experience with Proofpoint, configuration and enhancements.
• A strong background within email security.
• Strong troubleshooting and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
Build and implement Technical Solutions:

• Assist Solution Architects with initial testing and POC of Cyber Security solutions.
• Implement infrastructure, networking and integration components as per the approved design.
• Collaborate with the Solution Architects to ensure all build related work is complete, documented and ready for testing.
• Plan the deployment phase along with the Architects and Project Managers as per defined timelines.

Post Deployment Support:

• Draft test plans along with Test managers and Architects for assigned projects.
• Help with fixing any bugs identified during testing or pilot phase.
• Review any incidents created in the projects service now queue and involve the appropriate teams to help fix them.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Ability to forge strong relationship with change management, project management team members.
• Work with end users to fix any bugs post deployment of solutions.

Essential Experience

• Proven experience working as security engineer on large scale programmes in the Cyber Security Portfolio largely on Identity based security, Data classification and Cyber Security Resilience.
• Implementation knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID features like application integration, provisioning, MFA, SSPR and Conditional Access policies.
• Prior experience deploying Data classification using Microsoft Purview for a large enterprise.
• Experience collaborating with the Security Operations Centre (SOC) to optimise security monitoring, response planning and execution.
• Understanding of vulnerability management and threat landscape detection and remediation.
• Proven experience in being part of Disaster Recovery and Business continuity testing for critical applications.
• Ability to perform basic Active directory administration tasks for project work such as user, group and Group policy updates.

Essential Technical Skills & Qualifications

• Experience of the M365 security stack : Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Entra ID, Device management using Intune, Identity Governance.
• Cloud Security (Tenable, CyberArk, MDR,VPN)
• Knowledge of best practices and procedures related to Cyber Essentials, UK DPA/GDPR

Desirable Experience

• Proficiency in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Checkpoint Firewalls and security policies
• Ability to troubleshoot network related failures during deployments and identify root cause.
