We are currently recruiting for a client of ours who is in need of Painter and Decorators for a project based in Blackfriars, London.
Skills and requirements:
- Valid City & Guilds or Blue CSCS card and PPE
- At least 5 years construction experience in the UK
- Experience working for a Tier 1 Contractor
- Duties include rubbing down / sanding/ filling / undercoating / glossing windows
- Working hours 7am until 3pm (full 8 hours paid)
- Monday to Fridays
- 1 months work
- Working references required

What you’ll do
Your key accountabilities will include
- Skills Analysis & Capability Planning: Conduct deep skills analysis to map current and future capability needs across FH&B, enabling targeted development and transformation.
- Strategic Talent & Learning Needs: Partner with People teams and business leaders to identify talent and learning needs aligned to FH&B’s strategy and the People Plan, ensuring a future-ready workforce.
- Design & Delivery of Development Solutions: Create and implement tailored learning programmes—including induction, Early Careers, apprenticeships, and upskilling—to address functional and technical skill gaps.
- Enterprise Contribution & Succession Planning: Use FH&B insights to inform M&S-wide talent priorities, contribute to enterprise learning initiatives, and facilitate succession planning and talent forums to accelerate career progression.
- Inclusive Learning Culture & Team Leadership: Champion inclusive, impactful learning solutions, foster a strong internal learning culture, and manage direct reports to deliver high-quality development.
Who you are
Your skills and experience will include
- Skills & Learning Needs Analysis: Proven ability to assess current and future capability requirements, identifying skill gaps and aligning learning needs with strategic business goals.
- Learning Solution Design & Delivery: Experience designing functional and technical development programmes, including Early Careers and apprenticeships, and managing go-to-market and delivery planning.
- Talent Planning & Performance Consulting: Skilled in facilitating talent forums, succession planning, and consulting on performance to drive internal mobility and career progression.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Programme Impact: Strong communication and influence skills at senior levels, with the ability to evaluate programme effectiveness and translate talent data into actionable insights.
- Leadership & Sector Experience: People management experience, ideally gained in large retail or consumer goods organisations with a focus on strategic skill development and internal talent growth.

About this role
The role of the Skills and Development Coach has a primary focus of supporting a caseload of apprentices in order to ensure they are on track throughout the programme and complete on time. The Skills Coach is the main point of contact for the apprentices and has a central role in liaising with the employer, the tutors and the client team to support and guide their apprentices best. They also work closely with the Compliance Team to ensure that the requirements of the apprenticeship funding rules are met.

- Work for an OFSTED Outstanding provider that puts people first (the learner and YOU).

- Support a caseload of L3/4/7 accountancy apprentices working for some of the biggest names in practice and industry.
- Hold regular review meetings with learners and line managers.

- Monitor learner progression to ensure they reach their highest potential in all the knowledge, skills, and behaviours of the apprenticeship standards.
- Support apprentices through to End Point Assessment.
- Keep excellent records and relevant trackers up to date.
- Be able to develop yourself in many additional areas - and have fun while doing it!

- Ability to inspire, influence and motivate, with an enthusiasm for learning
- Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
