Notification of claims to all markets.










Negotiation and liaison with markets, clients, loss adjusters, placement teams, appointed experts, network offices and underwriters.










Conduct analysis to establish the claims history for a particular client or business portfolio and identify trends and patterns in claims for a client or business segment.










Negotiate the payment and settlement of claims with clients and underwriters.










Coordinate discussions and meetings to ensure superior level of communication between the client, underwriter and their representatives concerning the proposed settlement.










Engage with line management and the Head of Natural Resources Advocacy in the development of strategy to conclude contentious claims.














Attend meetings with international clients and brokers in London.

  • Achieving strong customer performance results by working as a team
  • Proactively assessing and resolving indemnity and liability, by using good initiative and sound judgement
  • Clearly and informatively communicating with our policyholder and third-party customers via written and verbal methods
  • Recovering monies from third parties and third party's insurers when our policyholder is not at fault for the accident
  • Negotiating claim settlement and making payments relating to the damage caused by our insured driver to the respective parties involved in the motor incident
  • Helping identify and prevent fraudulent claims


What will help you stand out?
  • Experience with customer interaction and delivery of exceptional customer service
  • Demonstrable teamwork skills
  • Previous experience of handling motor claims is desirable, but not essential
  • A keen attitude towards learning new things
  • The ability and drive to achieve or exceed targets
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads
  • Strong attention to detail coupled with a tenacious mind set
  • The capacity to manage and deal with change effectively and timely
  • FIT / CII (Insurance qualifications) accreditation desirable
