Job Title: Year 6 Classroom Teacher
Location: Hull
Salary: £140 – £90 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time/ Part-time, Long Term/ Day-to-day
Are you an enthusiastic and experienced Year 6 Teacher ready to inspire and prepare pupils for their next educational step?
GSL Education are seeking a passionate Year 6 Classroom Teacher to join a welcoming school in Hull starting this September . This role offers the opportunity to guide pupils through their final year of primary school, focusing on academic achievement, confidence building, and preparation for secondary education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Support students in preparation for SATs and ensure high standards of achievement.
- Differentiate learning activities to meet the needs of all pupils.
- Maintain strong classroom management and foster a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, parents, and colleagues to support pupil progress.
Requirements for the Year 6 Classroom Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent .
- Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 6.
- Strong understanding of SATs preparation and assessment strategies.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and behaviour management skills.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
