The Role:

Leading the charge on our wider acquisition strategy, you’ll be working closely with both marketing and Learning partners, using your unique blend of creativity and commercial thinking to help DoThinkDo grow, inspire, and stand out!
Your Focus Areas:
1. Lead generation
- Own the execution strategy for attracting new leads
- Drive outbound sales activity to secure meetings and conversations that convert to tangible opportunities
- Own the inbound stream of opportunities, work with marketing across multiple channels to build our brand and visibility
- Leverage all available channels to maximise outreach
- Build contact & influence networks
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders at potential / future client organisations
- Analyse and profile industry events and publications for attendance / advertising
- Design and execution of targeted advertising
2. Account-based marketing
- Working with Marketing and Learning Partners to open up new growth areas in existing accounts
- Support ABM planning, creation of contact and department mapping
- Follow up calls and meetings with prospects
3. Marketing collaboration and support
- Competitor analysis and profiling
- Create client acquisition and industry / sector specific campaigns
- Creation and curation of relevant and meaningful sales & marketing collateral
4. Events
- Manage funnel of digital and in-person events for attracting new customers,
- Create CRM campaigns and sequences to identify, invite and nurture event attendees
- Collect participant report on effectiveness of approaches
- Conduct AB testing to establish best practice for event outreach
Who you are:
We are looking for a creative thinker, someone who loves to collaborate and is curious about communication, about how people learn and what we can do to help everyone achieve their potential.
You’ll have several years experience within a consultative b2b sales environment, ideally within learning / training organisations, and be competent with the mechanics of client acquisition such as CRMs (Hubspot is ideal), campaign generation and proposal writing. You’ll have an interest in how AI can and will shape Business Development.
Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify and generate leads is also a bonus.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a scalable client acquisition engine across outbound email, LinkedIn, and other digital channels
- You will be responsible for building and maintaining our system from the ground up.
- Lead cold outreach campaigns using modern tools such as Clay, Smartlead, Apollo, and more
- Manage and continuously optimise the sales pipeline, ensuring high-quality lead conversion
- Define and iterate on our ICP and develop segment-specific messaging and playbooks
- Develop outreach SOPs and test new acquisition channels and data sources
- Take ownership of deals from initial contact through to close
- Work with campaign team to build bespoke proposals, lead discovery, and negotiate commercial terms
- Track and report on acquisition KPIs
- Recruit, train, and manage a small team of SDRs and Account Executives within the first 3–6 months
- Lead weekly sales stand-ups and performance reviews
- Keep ahead of the latest client acquisition strategies, tools, and techniques in B2B sales
- Test and implement emerging technology for sales automation, personalisation, and outreach
- Explore opportunities for growth via partnerships, referrals, and content-driven lead generation
- Leading the pitch process for signing clients.
- Lead in engaging the wider team in generating new business.
Other Day-to-Day Responsibilities include:
- Keeping an eye out for new companies to add to our target lists.
- Hunting for new access routes into prospect companies.
- Helping develop scripts and messaging that facilitates expansion of our overall organisation.
- Providing feedback to the campaign team about what you feel will lead to increased revenue and improved client retention.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in B2B client acquisition, ideally within an agency, SaaS, or tech environment
- Experience targeting the US market for client acquisition.
- Proven track record of building acquisition systems and closing £4,000 80,000+/month deals
- In-depth knowledge of the latest AI, outbound sales tools and processes
- Experience managing or mentoring a sales/BDR team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a sharp commercial instinct
- Confident self-starter who thrives in a high-autonomy environment
