Role Description
This is a full-time on site or hybrid role (3 days a week in the office) for a Cloud Developer located in Norwich.
We are seeking a skilled C# Developer with experience in building Azure Durable Functions or equivalent serverless workflows. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining robust backend systems and APIs for our enterprise platforms, with a strong focus on scalability, performance, and integration.
The ideal candidate will also have experience with Azure API Management (APIM), including setting up and managing API gateways and defining policies. Exposure to front-end technologies and Dynamics 365 is a bonus.
Key Responsibilities
· Design and develop serverless applications using Azure Durable Functions.
· Build and maintain scalable and secure APIs, leveraging Azure API Management for control and policy enforcement.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and implement business logic.
· Participate in code reviews and advocate for best practices in C# development.
· Support integration with Microsoft Power Platform and Dataverse as required.
· Contribute to UI/UX implementation where necessary using JavaScript and HTML.
Required Skills & Experience
· Strong commercial experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem.

As a critical part of the Secure Cloud Solutions team you are expected to take a lead role in all aspects of software development within cloud centric solutions, being able to develop backend or full stack solutions. **Responsibilities**
+ May be the lead engineer within a team, with accountability for the quality of delivery, owning of the team deliverables, working with the project teams to define a path forward that meets the customer's requirements.
+ Liaison with Product Owner and Project Stakeholders during design work, guiding more junior engineers through the process to document, estimate and prioritise customer requirement sets.
+ Responsible for the design of parts of or the overall solution, and able to articulate the design to stakeholders.
+ Get involved in the entire development lifecycle from requirements gathering to design, implementation, test and deployment.
+ Work may include technical writing in designing of operational systems producing System Design Documents, such as both High- and Low-Level Designs and Operational Concept Descriptions or contributing to business development and contributing to bid writing.
+ Responsible for the development of clean, well-constructed, unit-tested code
+ Leads the quality of the team's output by contributing in code reviews, and the creation and maintenance of automated tests and testing and deployment tooling.
+ Undertake documentation reviews of other engineers' work, ensuring documentation is of good quality and aligns to the standards set by the project
+ Leads the team's continuous improvement and work planning.
+ Leads the creation and maintenance of the team's CI/CD tool chain.
+ Supports the Project Manager in predicting resourcing needs for the team.
+ Mentor to less experienced software engineers and may have some line management duties.

**Your Experience:**
+ Proven experience working within IT Systems Design, Deployment and Administration, with recent roles in Technical or Team Leadership positions.
+ Excellent communication, collaboration & problem-solving skills, ideally with some experience in agile ways of working.
+ Hands on experience of full stack development
+ Experience of using: Python, Backend development in Java and it's ecosystem (Spring Boot, Maven), Frontend Development and it's ecosystem (React, npm).
+ Experience of developing cloud-based solutions across either Amazon Web Service or Microsoft Azure.
+ Certification to Associate level in either AWS or Azure is desirable whether as an Architect/Engineer or Developer.
+ Experience of automating tasks using Ansible, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager, Puppet, Python, CDK or Terraform
+ Use of DevOps Automated Deployment tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab, Docker, OpenShift or Kubernetes
+ General knowledge of other related disciplines, such as test, infrastructure, systems engineering.
+ Experience of DevSecOps. Able to contribute to the development and maintenance of the project's CI/CD chain toolset.
