The Role:

As a Manager - HR Technology & Transformation, you will lead and support complex HR system implementation projects, focusing on programme delivery, stakeholder management, and SME coordination across global clients. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead or support end-to-end programme management for HR technology implementations (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors, ServiceNow).
  • Coordinate activities across business SMEs, technical teams, vendors, and client stakeholders.
  • Drive project governance and reporting, maintaining RAID logs, project plans, status updates, and stakeholder communications.
  • Translate business requirements into programme workstreams, ensuring alignment between functional needs and technical delivery.
  • Manage dependencies, track progress, and escalate risks or blockers to ensure smooth execution.
  • Plan and facilitate key programme activities such as workshops, testing cycles, data migration, and cutover planning.

About You:

You are an experienced consultant or programme manager with a solid background in HR system delivery. You know what it takes to lead complex programmes, manage senior stakeholders, and bring structure to fast-paced projects. You're confident working with business and technical SMEs, and you enjoy making things happen.


You'll bring:

  • Experience delivering large-scale HRIS implementations (e.g. Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, ServiceNow).

We are seeking experienced Consultants with profound knowledge in HR Transformation & HR IT / Cloud Transformation to join our growing European practice.   • HR Product- and HR Cloud Module based knowledge in areas such as Performance Management, Talent Development, Succession Planning, Recruiting & Onboarding,  Learning Management, Job Architecture Design & Skills Management, People Analytics, Time & Attendance, Total Rewards & Payroll etc. 
  • HR IT Landscape Design; HR Cloud Vendor Selection; HR Cloud Readiness Assessment;  HR Cloud Operations & Support Model Design 
  • Deliver HR TOM and experience-driven HR Process Design including AI Accelerators as part of our HR Cloud implementations (AI in HR Strategy & Use Case Design) 
  • Provide HR Cloud-based Workforce Transformation Advisory from Talent Marketplace solutioning via skill-based organization towards Learning Agility, Upskilling and Reskilling initiatives. 
  • Facilitate HR workshops and craft insightful presentations, providing actionable recommendations. 
  • Contribute to practice development and pre-sales activities to further develop our service offerings, proposals and go-to-market initiatives.

    About You 

    We are looking for a professional with robust consulting background or business and/or corporate experience in HR (IT) Transformation, HR Cloud Advisory and Hire-to-Retire HXM Technologies gained in in-house role, preferably in large-scale international environments. The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge in at least one of the following areas: 
    • Have a broad business skill set including stakeholder management, problem-solving, and resilience
    • Have experience in gathering, validating, synthesizing, documenting, and communicating data and information for a range of audiences
    • Have excellent interpersonal skills and strong written and verbal communication skills in country’s official language(s) (C2 proficiency) and English (C2 proficiency), project-related mobility/willingness to travel
    • Domain expertise in HR employee lifecycle H2R, including HR process design, creation of formal process documentation and detailed process maps. 
    • Translation of employee experience needs into business requirements to drive digital and AI-empowered HR platforms deployment 
    • Knowledge and experience in implementing HR Cloud Technologies (e.g. Oracle, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday) as well as HR Ticketing / Workflow Management Tools (e.g. ServiceNow HRSD, Salesforce).  
    • Managing vendor relationships and technology selection processes. 
    • In-depth knowledge and ability to design and optimize HR Operating Models 
    • Ability for conducting HR & HR IT workshops and subsequently creating recommendation reports, thought leadership and transformation roadmaps. 
    • Strong facilitation, communication, and problem-solving abilities. 
    • Ability to lead project teams and mentor junior consultants. 
    • Demonstrable experience in developing proposals and offerings, either for internal or external clients. 
    • Contribution to practice development, including go-to-market strategies and developing others. 

To qualify for the role, you must have: 

    • In-depth understanding of H2R cycle  
    • HR Cloud module-related knowledge & certifications  
    • Strong understanding of digital transformation principles and best practices. 
    • Proficiency and hands-on experience and preferably certifications in  HR technologies such as: 
    • HR Cloud systems, e.g. Oracle, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, SAP HCM, S/4 HANA H2R  
    • HR ticketing/workflow tools (e.g. ServiceNow HRSD, Salesforce)  
    • Other HXM technologies (e.g. Avature, Eightfold, Gloat, Cornerstone, etc.) 
    • Tools to support the analysis and documentation of HR processes, e.g. via Celonis, Ingentis. 
    • Practical knowledge of AI, GenAI and automation tools transforming HR processes. 
    • Expertise in managing complex and multi-regional projects. 
    • Proven ability to provide expert advice and guidance to clients and help solve their HR challenges. 
    • Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience from recognized consultancies (HR technology consulting), or 6 years in-house roles with significant HR transformation and digital HR project exposure.

This role operates on a hybrid model, blending home-based flexibility with essential in-office collaboration to foster strong team connections and strategic alignment. You will act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, supporting the entire employee lifecycle and driving key HR initiatives to support business objectives. Your remit will include talent management, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and developing HR policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with business leaders to understand their talent needs and develop strategic HR solutions.
  • Manage employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the performance management cycle, including goal setting, feedback, and appraisals.
  • Advise on talent acquisition and retention strategies to attract and keep top talent.
  • Support compensation and benefits programs, ensuring market competitiveness and internal equity.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with employment law and best practices.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on HR-related matters.
  • Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with the wider HR team on projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar HR generalist role, preferably within the technology sector.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in talent management, employee relations, and performance management.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach.

**External Examiner (EE)**
**BTEC Higher Nationals**
**Purpose of this Role**
Affirm national standards have been achieved and upheld
Monitor through external examiner sampling and visit activities, centres' compliance with Pearson quality assurance expectations for RQF BTEC Higher National programmes
Support centres during the sampling process
Support centres in the delivery of BTEC Higher National programmes to national standards.
**Key Accountabilities**
Covering a defined range of programmes within a sector, the External Examiner (EE) will:
Undertake sampling of assessed student work within defined parameters and rules to establish that centres are assessing learning outcomes in accordance with Pearson standards for its Higher National qualifications
Provide sampling-related support and development to centres
Produce reports for centres and Pearson on the sampling undertaken, outcomes reached, and support provided
Apply appropriate sanctions in consultation with the team leader where it is deemed assessment outcomes are not consistent with the published national standards being met
Produce targeted actions for centres to assist with remedial actions where national standards are not being upheld
Support centres to understand and implement identified actions
Facilitate the Senior External Examiner (SEE) in sourcing materials for training and standardisation
Report back to Pearson and centres following EE activity within agreed service-level agreements
Undertake any other duties appropriate to the work of Technical and Professional Assessment in relation to this role
**Previous Experience:** **Essential:**
Significant experience in delivering and assessing BTEC Higher National qualifications in the subject area
Hold a qualification at least at Level 6 and a full and relevant competence qualification for working in the sector
Participation annually in online training and standardisation and successful completion of the set standardisation activity
**Desirable:**
Evidence of recent Continuous Professional Development (CPD) in the sector
A willingness to use technology-based approaches to communication and centre support
**Skills and Knowledge** **Essential:**
Excellent communication, written, verbal, IT and interpersonal skills
Good working knowledge of the specifications that comprise the area of expertise for the role
A customer-focused approach
The need to meet deadlines
Develop and monitor clear action plans
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
**Desirable:**
Word processing and intermediate Excel skills
