- Design and architect scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Collaborate with development teams, business stakeholders, and IT operations to understand requirements and translate them into effective cloud strategies.
- Develop comprehensive cloud migration plans and oversee their execution.
- Implement and manage cloud infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, and databases.
- Ensure the security and compliance of cloud environments, implementing appropriate security controls and policies.
- Optimise cloud resource utilisation and costs through monitoring and performance tuning.
- Develop and maintain cloud architecture documentation, standards, and best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud technologies and services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications.
- Evaluate and recommend new cloud services and technologies to enhance business capabilities.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud trends, advancements, and industry best practices.
- Conduct proof-of-concepts and demonstrations of new cloud solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 4 years focused on cloud architecture and solutions design.
- Proven experience designing and deploying solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts, security principles, and data management.
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless computing.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
