Skills:
We are seeking an experienced consultant with decent experience in BluAge.

The project is aiming to migrate existing Legacy System from (Mainframe), DB2 to JAVA/AWS/PostgreSQL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving modernization efforts, leveraging Blu Age tools to automate the transformation of Legacy Mainframe systems, and delivering solutions that ensure optimal system performance and scalability. This position will involve working closely with business stakeholders and other IT professionals to develop strategies and implement migration solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Blu Age Expertise: Leverage Blu Age automation tools to analyze, modernize, and transform Legacy Mainframe applications into more modern and scalable solutions.
  • Mainframe Modernization: Lead initiatives for migrating and modernizing core Mainframe systems, including the re-platforming or re-architecting of Mainframe-based applications.

A leading UK education group is embarking on one of the largest Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant consolidation projects in the sector – migrating dozens of separate school environments into a single, secure, high-performing M365 tenancy. We’re looking for an experienced Strategic Engineering Lead to take ownership of the technical architecture, design, and delivery of this multi-year programme, working closely with a top-tier Microsoft partner and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the principal technical authority for the Trust-wide M365 single tenancy migration programme.

  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of the new central M365 environment, ensuring security, compliance, and performance best practice.

  • Oversee migration execution in partnership with an outsourced delivery team, managing risks and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
