The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing secure cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP), implementing security controls, and responding to security incidents. You will play a pivotal role in threat modeling, risk assessments, and driving security best practices across the organization. This position requires a deep understanding of current and emerging security threats and vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain the overall security architecture for cloud-based systems and applications.
  • Define and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures for cloud environments.
  • Conduct comprehensive security risk assessments and threat modeling.
  • Evaluate, select, and implement appropriate security technologies and solutions (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, WAF, encryption).
  • Develop and implement security controls for cloud platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
  • Oversee security aspects of cloud migrations and deployments.
  • Lead incident response planning and execution for cloud security breaches.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and development teams to integrate security into the SDLC (DevSecOps).
  • Provide expert guidance on compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001) related to cloud security.
  • Stay current with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
  • Mentor junior security professionals and contribute to security awareness training.
  • Represent the security team in architecture reviews and strategic planning initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in information security, with a significant focus on designing and implementing cloud security architectures.
  • In-depth knowledge of major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their security services.
  • Expertise in security frameworks, best practices, and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, CIS Controls, ISO 27001, GDPR).
  • Proficiency in identity and access management (IAM), network security, data security, and application security.
  • Experience with security tools such as SIEM, vulnerability scanners, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
  • Strong understanding of cryptography, network protocols, and operating system security.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid team environment.
  • Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, CISM) are highly desirable.
