What you’ll be doing
As a Cloud Security Specialist, you’ll play a key role in strengthening our security posture across Microsoft 365 and Azure environments. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the deployment and management of Microsoft Defender XDR across Identity, Endpoint, Office, and Cloud Apps.
- Implementing and maintaining phishing-resistant, passwordless authentication across all user devices.
- Designing and enforcing conditional access and multi-factor authentication policies using Entra ID.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to align security initiatives with business goals and maximise the value of our licence investments.
- Conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation plans for services including Entra ID, Defender XDR, and Microsoft Purview.
- Providing technical leadership in shaping and rolling out security policies, including labelling and classification standards.
- Promoting secure access practices through user education, clear documentation, and ongoing support.
- Staying ahead of evolving threats and proactively adapting controls to counter emerging risks.
The skills you’ll need
We’re looking for someone with a strong foundation in cloud and identity security, and a collaborative mindset. Ideally, you’ll have experience with:
- Microsoft 365 Security and Entra ID, including conditional access and authentication strategies
- Endpoint and cloud security configuration, policy enforcement, and incident response
- Active Directory and directory services (including Azure AD and Oracle Unified Directory)
- Microsoft security tools such as Defender, Sentinel, DLP, AIP, and passwordless/passkey deployments
- Regulatory frameworks like NIST CSF, ISO 27002, and CIS Controls
- Working with stakeholders across Information Security to align on strategy and implementation
It would also be great if you’re familiar with:
- Identity platforms such as SailPoint and CyberArk
- Creating and communicating telemetry data across identity systems, and working with SOC/SIEM teams to ensure compliance

Monitor through external examiner sampling and visit activities, centres' compliance with Pearson quality assurance expectations for RQF BTEC Higher National programmes

- Take witness statements and prepare evidence for liability and damages
- Instruct medical experts and arrange necessary treatment
- Attend conferences, case management hearings, applications, and trials

Candidate Requirements for the Data Protection Supervisor role:
- Strong background in litigation, preferably in data protection or privacy law
- Excellent telephone and written communication skills
- High-level organisational, analytical, and research abilities
- Sound knowledge of data protection compliance, cybersecurity, and the CPR
- Understanding of solicitor/client retainers and litigation processes

About the Company: Global Education Provider
About the Role: A global education provider is seeking Data Protection Officer, and Senior Legal Counsel Commercial to join its legal team. This role is ideal for a qualified lawyer with strong commercial and corporate experience and data protection experience with GDPR and subject access request expertise , who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The role is primarily remote, with occasional in-office requirements in London. Candidates do need to be close and commutable to London in the event office needs require their presence.
Responsibilities:
- Commercial & Corporate Legal Work:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts , including service agreements, technology contracts, and partnership agreements, IP and data protection, and handle all aspects of data protection for the group companies.
Qualifications: England & Wales-qualified solicitor with 4+ years PQE, ideally from private practice (top-tier firm experience preferred) or from in-house with previous private practice experience.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in commercial and corporate law in a private practice setting , including contract negotiation and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex legal issues for non-legal stakeholders.
