WSP is looking for an experienced Enterprise or Solution Architecture Consultant to join our industry-leading Intelligent Infrastructure team. We provide technical professional services to transport clients throughout the UK and overseas to deliver tangible value for through technology enabled change.
As an Architect, you will take a lead technical role on projects to provide client facing advisory and assurance services.
Responsibilities:
+ Leading teams to deliver consultancy services
+ Working with clients and stakeholders at all levels to understand business needs and enable change
+ Collaborating with clients, partners, and supply chains to solve complex business and technical problems
+ Developing and documenting Architectures at various levels
+ Acting as a technical authority and providing assurance services
+ Planning and delivering work packages within a project or programme
+ Acting as an Architecture champion within our team and in our global networks, providing mentorship, support and guidance across projects and bids

This role sits within the II System and Infrastructure business and will form a key part of the growing Data and Architecture Capability, which is our centre of excellence for digital skills.
Our Intelligent Infrastructure - Systems and Infrastructure team is growing rapidly to deliver exciting projects in areas such as connected and autonomous vehicles, next generation traffic control systems, 5G, and digital twins. We are developing our technology capabilities to meet these demands and have a number of opportunities for technology specialists to join out Data and Architecture consultancy capability.
The Capability team provides a community of colleagues working in and around technology to help you deliver effectively and support your professional development through training, mentoring and opportunities to really stretch your capabilities.
**What we will be looking for you to demonstrate.**
+ Undergraduate or higher Degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent professional experience and qualifications
+ Acted as lead consultant/architect and technical authority
+ Successfully lead a team to deliver technical tasks
+ Conducted discovery activities and working with stakeholders at all levels to understand their needs
+ Development and documentation of Enterprise, Business, and Application domains using established architecture frameworks such as TOGAF
+ Strong analytical skills and a proven ability to think creatively to solve problems.
+ Client-facing experience and excellent communications skills, both written and face-to-face
+ Experience delivering complex technology projects and programmes in waterfall and agile environments
+ In addition, it would be great if you have some of these as well:
+ Experience working with Operational Technology architectures (highly desirable)
+ Qualifications in relevant frameworks and methodologies such as TOGAF, COBIT, Service Design, Business Analysis, or ITIL
