**OVERVIEW OF THE DEPARTMENT/SECTION**

Financial Management team is a part of the IT Planning, Reporting and Administration department (IPR). The role of the IPR department is to ensure communication and liaison with Head Office (HO) in Tokyo, for both Bank and Securities, as well as accountability for EMEA Technology wide reporting, management of resourcing processes, management of asset processes and administration of wider planning processes including annual budget planning.
**NUMBER OF DIRECT REPORTS**
**MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**
Financial Management team, IT Planning, Reporting & Administration Gr, governs IT Project budget-related things.
The individual in this role primarily focuses on the former part, i.e. Bank Project Governance, leads the business line with one direct report, and reports to Head of Financial Management team. The main purpose of the role includes:
+ Defining, establishing, and maintaining the Project governance framework and processes in MUFG Bank EMEA and continually assessing them for more effectiveness and productivity.
+ Managing IT Investment budgets across EMEA region so as to ensure financial discipline and maximise cost-benefit performance in close liaison with various major stakeholders in EMEA and counterparts in Bank Head Office.
+ Making effective use of accumulated Project data (e.g. cost owner, agreed cost allocations, etc.), serving as a bridge between Investment and Expense realms.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Specifically, you will be accountable and responsible for taking appropriate action with respect to the Company's and EMEATechnology, including:
+ Responsible for:
+ Manage the Bank Project Governance business line in the team
+ Establish and maintain system investment-related procedures in Bank EMEA
+ Proactively drive continuous improvement of the relevant processes and procedures (including various workflows) and templates in line with organisational needs
+ Manage investment budget and funding demands of all Bank system development projects in EMEA in a timely and accurate manner
+ Scrutinise IT solutions, project plans and development costs through investment project application form review processes, Provide guidance on procedures, processes, tools and techniques. Facilitate collaboration between stakeholders in this respect.
+ Manage/maintain databases and create reports for decision-making
+ Support Technology management with ad hoc tasks as and when required
**WORK EXPERIENCE**

+ Demonstrable practical experience with demand and financial planning required; previous experience with PMO/PLC processes and controls beneficial

We're looking for a talented Prudential and Financial Risk Management Senior Auditor to join our growing Internal Audit team.
You should be an experienced Prudential and Financial Risk Management Auditor, ideally with a background working in the banking or regulated financial services sector. You will be passionate about making a real impact to the Bank's controls and business processes because this is key to our mission. With limited supervision, you will be required to develop relationships with management and to plan and execute audits in Prudential and Financial Risk and other areas of Starling.
You will support and help Starling's senior management to protect the assets, reputation and sustainability of Starling as it continues on its growth path and delivers fantastic products and services.
This position focuses on areas such as Prudential, Treasury and Finance (e.g. Regulatory Reporting) and Model Risk management.
What you will be doing
- Contribute to audits over Prudential / Financial Risk, Model Risk management and remediation areas respectively, using the support of Starling's in-house team and co-source providers.
- Undertaking specialist regulatory reviews on areas such as ICAAP/ILAAP documentation, and ALM activities (e.g. IRRBB, Capital etc) and the Resolvability Assessment Framework
- Planning audits, documenting processes to be reviewed, identifying risks and the key actual controls in place to mitigate the identified risks, and attending meetings with internal/external stakeholders
- Document work papers to ensure consistency with audit methodology and quality standards, including formulation of logical and supportable conclusions
- Support the delivery of value-add and insightful audit reports, ensuring factual accuracy is agreed upon and managing stakeholder communications
- Draw and articulate well-formulated conclusions and pragmatic recommendations, as well as inspire and be an agent of positive change throughout Starling
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships at all levels

Requirements
- Financial Services experience as an auditor or a strong understanding of audit processes in Financial risk or Treasury such as Liquidity Risk Management and Asset Liability Management
- Experience or exposure to regulatory compliance applicable to UK regulated Banks
- Strong relationship management and influencing skills, coupled with excellent planning and presentation skills
- Experience in delivering integrated audits, supporting business auditors in identifying relevant Prudential / Financial risks and designing appropriate audit techniques
- Good understanding and exposure to the full audit lifecycle including the ability to plan, execute and draft audit findings to a good standard.

**Revenue Analyst and Pricing Placement**
This placement is ideally suited to a student looking to gain an understanding of how revenue and pricing strategies are executed and maintained on an international scale. In this unique internship you will learn how to shape the commercial revenue performance of EMEA hotels through the strategic coordination of reporting, delivery of data driven strategies, processes, procedures and partnership in projects.
You will be an integral part of the team and will play an active role in our continued success. You will:
+ Ensure effective information gathering and analysis is conducted to identify and maximise on all possible opportunities and minimise any risks.
+ Support and communicate EMEA business performance and strategy relevant to inventory, pricing, systems, and promotional deployment.
+ Support EMEA and global projects with a test and learn culture, focused on our customer proposition, with robust measurements to monitor and improve performance.

This role is perfect for someone eager to explore the world of business development, with a focus on identifying growth opportunities and driving commercial success across Hilton's EMEA hotel portfolio.
