Duties
- Set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture parts according to design specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM files.
- Select and prepare tools, fixtures, and materials for machining tasks.
- Perform routine checks and assist with basic machine maintenance.
- Inspect finished parts with measuring tools to ensure high-quality standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet production deadlines and customer expectations.
- Assist with handling and moving raw materials and finished components.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace.
- Take part in training to expand CNC knowledge, programming skills, and machining techniques.
Experience
- Previous CNC operating experience is preferred, ideally within joinery, cabinetry, or related manufacturing.
- Familiarity with woodworking machinery, hand tools, or technical/mechanical work is an advantage.
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable with manual handling of materials.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
- A positive attitude, teamwork, and reliability are essential.
