This is a key role within the production department, responsible for producing high quality, medium to heavy workpieces in line with customer specifications and tight tolerances. The successful candidate will have a strong background in CNC machining and be fully proficient with Heidenhain, Fanuc, or Siemens control systems.

• Set, operate, and program CNC horizontal boring and milling machines.

The role is paying up to 36,159 per annum. Overtime is x1.5 your hourly rate.

The hours for the role are Monday to Thursday 7am till 4pm and Friday 7.30am to 12.30pm. This is a 39 hour week.

Requirements:

• Mechanical Engineering and CNC router or equivalent relevant workplace experience is essential

• The ability to create CNC files and path to the files
• Have a working understanding of the principles and tools of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools within a low volume, high quality manufacturing facility
