• Undertake structural analysis and design for commercial buildings, retail spaces, and industrial facilities.
• Prepare detailed structural drawings, calculations, and specifications using industry-standard software (e.g., Tekla Structural Designer, Revit, AutoCAD).
• Ensure designs comply with relevant British Standards, Eurocodes, and building regulations.
• Manage structural engineering projects from inception through to completion, coordinating with clients and contractors.
• Provide technical guidance and supervision to junior engineers and technicians.
• Conduct site inspections and surveys to assess existing structures and monitor construction progress.
• Liaise with architects, M&E engineers, and other consultants to ensure integrated project design.
• Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and tender submissions.

• Master's degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with a structural focus.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or significant progress towards chartership (e.g., IStructE, ICE).
• Minimum of 7 years of post-graduate experience in structural engineering design.
• Proven experience in the design of steel, concrete, and masonry structures.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations (Eurocodes essential).
• Experience with BIM software like Revit Structure and Navisworks is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client management skills.
• Ability to lead and manage projects effectively.
• Problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.

• Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities for commercial projects.
