Finelight Media Group is looking for a talented and ambitious Content Editor to join its expanding team in its Norwich-based office.
We are one of the leading B2B media groups, with offices in both the UK & US. Within the Finelight Media Group there are multiple industry-leading online magazine publications in the corporate space across key sectors, as well as two sister agencies with expertise across web design, digital marketing and data storytelling.
About The Role
As our Content Editor you will be responsible for creating interview questions and conducting Teams interviews with senior company directors to produce ‘company insights’ for the magazine portfolio. Interviews are recorded and transcribed, but the Content Editor must check accuracy and use the material to draft articles.
Editors typically complete at least one article per day, with another in progress, aiming for two per day. They may also produce insights from written Q&As, company websites, and support other editorial tasks such as proofreading, newsletters, ad/web copy, and news items.
The role includes drafting questions, incorporating client amends, filing copy with the art editor, and updating Hubspot CRM throughout the process. Strong collaboration with colleagues and some administrative support are also required
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Develop interview questions
• Conduct telephone and video interviews with senior company directors
• Review and verify transcriptions of interviews for accuracy
• Write articles, referred to as ‘company profiles’ or ‘insights’ (articles typically range from 850 to 2,000+ words)
• Produce a minimum of one article per day, with another in progress, aiming for two per day
• Create insights from client-submitted Q&As and company websites as required
• Incorporate client amendments into drafts and file final copy for the art editor
• Support all departments with content-related work, both internal and external
• Assist with proofreading, newsletters, scripts, advertising/web copy, and news items as needed
• Perform administrative tasks, including updating spreadsheets and related records
• Update Hubspot CRM throughout the writing and editorial process
Requirements:
• Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word
• Be highly organised and able to prioritise workload efficiently
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a professional telephone manner
• Quickly establish themselves within the editorial team and work cohesively with colleagues
• Be able to write engaging and accurate interview questions and articles
• Work efficiently from transcripts, ensuring accuracy
• Meet strict deadlines and understand the publishing schedule

The Content Editor, Newsletters position is an exciting new role that will be responsible for all the email newsletter output across Homes & Gardens and Livingetc, creating brilliant products that deliver traffic to the websites and also engage the audience on platform. We are seeking candidates for multiple subjects to write and edit BGE and Senior Phase content for Scottish Secondary teachers and students.

How you will spend your week:
- Meeting with other Twinkl writers and editors, the Conduit Product Owner and Secondary Segment Manager to discuss new ideas;
- Writing and editing CfE content for the Scottish Secondary market;
- Identifying and developing new project ideas within your chosen subject and wider Conduit Team;
- You may also do some editing work for other subject areas across the Conduit Team;
In this role, you will learn :
- How to create and edit new teacher content for our Scottish team, from ideation stage to publication on the site;
