We are looking for an experienced Professional Services Commodity Manager (Legal, Finance and Logistics), responsible for developing sourcing strategies and business cases, tendering and source selection, negotiating and managing supplier agreements of various types associated with medium complexity supplier requirements. Someone who will liaise with suppliers at middle management levels to drive improvement and resolve disputes. You will contribute to business area and stakeholder functional strategies via specific commodity strategies. Also, you will manage and monitor the supply chain, supporting the drive for business growth, efficiency, profitability and inter-company relationships.
**Skills and Experience:**
**Essential:**
+ Experience in Supply Chain, Subcontract Management, Procurement, Commodity and/or related field
+ Related degree, MCIPS or equivalent
+ Experience in managing stakeholder groups
+ Knowledge of Legal, Financial and/or Logistics commodity management
+ Experience of creating and developing commodity strategies
+ Able to lead or perform effectively in a multi-functional team
+ Excellent verbal and written communications and ability to brief at mid to senior management level
+ Knowledge of import/export legislation and logistical requirements
+ Administration of delivery/acceptance/invoicing of goods and services
+ Experience in or exposure to negotiating complex non-standard contracts/agreements including service level requirements

+ Leveraging commodity opportunities and synergies across RTX.
+ Ensuring that strategies are in alignment with market conditions, Raytheon requirements, goals and growth plans.
+ Leveraging supplier and industry capabilities in conjunction with stakeholder functions to align functional strategies and identify gaps to link supplier capabilities with Raytheon requirements.
+ Developing commodity agreements.
+ Developing and managing tenders. Performs or supports cost and price analysis, develops negotiation strategies, and leads negotiations to create value for money outcomes for procuring goods and services.

- Providing customer training, and coordinating service & support needs, both in person and virtually
- Proactively sharing knowledge and best-practices with clients, as well as internally
Requirements
Skills & Experience:
- Must have experience in energy, shipping or in the wider commodity/financial/trading or data & analytics sector
- Have experience in Customer Success, with proven record of partnering with customers on their needs
- Client-first mentality and track record of adoption, churn prevention and renewal success
- Several years’ experience within a customer success, sales or business development role (B2B SaaS experience a plus)
- Strong relationship building and relationship management skills
- First-class communication skills – verbal and written
- Experience using customer success analytics tools, including CRM systems; experience using data to inform decisions and with a measurement-orientated approach

- Have excellent engagement and influencing skills with an ability to establish trusted advisor relationships with business decision makers
- Have exceptional organisational skills, communication and active listening skills
- Have strong business acumen and problem-solving skills

Overview
Our client is looking for an experienced and proactive Supply Chain Manager to oversee the full spectrum of their supply chain operations, from sourcing and logistics to inventory and distribution. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role where you’ll be responsible for ensuring the efficient, cost-effective, and reliable flow of materials and products through the business.
You’ll collaborate across departments to optimise supply chain performance, build supplier and logistics partnerships, and implement continuous improvement initiatives that support business growth and customer satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities
Supply Chain Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement a robust supply chain strategy that aligns with business goals and market demands.
- Forecast material and production requirements in collaboration with procurement, production, and sales teams.
- Lead capacity planning, ensuring supply meets operational and customer needs.
- Analyse market and demand trends to drive strategic decision-making.
Procurement & Supplier Management
- Oversee sourcing activities and supplier performance to ensure cost, quality, and delivery objectives are met.
- Negotiate key supplier agreements and manage strategic relationships.
- Monitor compliance with ethical sourcing and sustainability standards.
- Support innovation through supplier collaboration and value engineering initiatives.
Logistics & Distribution
- Manage all inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation.
- Optimise warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and stock turnover.
- Work with logistics partners to improve delivery performance and service reliability.
- Implement measures to minimise waste, reduce costs, and streamline material flow.
Inventory & Demand Management
- Maintain optimal stock levels to balance cost and availability.
- Implement MRP/ERP-driven planning processes and forecasting tools.
- Conduct regular stock reviews and lead inventory reduction initiatives without impacting service levels.
Performance, Risk & Compliance
- Monitor supply chain KPIs including OTIF (On Time In Full), inventory accuracy, and cost efficiency.
- Identify and mitigate operational and supply risks.
- Ensure all supply chain processes comply with company policies, safety standards, and legal requirements.
- Lead audits and drive corrective action plans where required.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of supply chain professionals.
- Build strong internal partnerships with operations, production, finance, and commercial teams.
- Foster a culture of accountability, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
Process Improvement & Systems
- Drive digital transformation within the supply chain, leveraging data analytics and automation tools.
- Continuously assess and enhance systems and workflows to improve visibility and efficiency.
- Support sustainability goals through process optimisation and waste reduction initiatives.
About You
- Proven experience in a supply chain management or senior logistics role , ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory control, and logistics.
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using ERP/MRP systems and data tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and deliver measurable performance improvements.
- CIPS, APICS, or equivalent professional qualification desirable.
- Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-moving, results-oriented environment.
