They are looking for a Communications Test Engineer , to spearhead the integration and verification of advanced communication systems, primarily focusing on baseband digital processing and verification , with some exposure to analog and RF hardware as needed. Key responsibilities involve developing and managing setups and test software to validate modems and links at both baseband and RF levels.

Responsibilities

The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Senior RF Electronics Engineer to design, build, and test new RF-based systems and products.
You’ll play a hands-on role in technical design while collaborating closely with colleagues and customers to deliver innovative, reliable solutions.
You’ll have access to a state-of-the-art lab with the latest RF, microwave, and test equipment — including spectrum/network analysers and anechoic chambers — and be part of a multidisciplinary team that values curiosity, precision, and creative problem-solving.
Key Skills & Experience
- Degree (MEng or equivalent) in Electronic Engineering or similar.
- 6+ years’ experience designing RF-based circuits (for radios, radar, or related systems).
- Proven ability to take designs from concept to verification .
- Strong knowledge of RF, microwave, and analogue circuit design — amplifiers, filters, frequency synthesisers, etc.
- Experience with RF simulation tools and hands-on testing.
- Knowledge of radio and radar systems .
- Experience in mmWave design or digital circuit integration .
- Team leadership or mentoring experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop RF systems and components for wireless communication products, including antennas, amplifiers, and filters.
- Conduct detailed RF performance analysis, simulations, and measurements using industry-standard tools (e.g., ANSYS HFSS, Keysight ADS).
- Optimise RF circuit designs for power efficiency, signal integrity, and spectral purity.
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams to integrate RF modules into larger systems.
- Develop and execute test plans for RF components and systems, documenting results and identifying areas for improvement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve RF-related issues during product development and post-production phases.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in RF technology, wireless standards (e.g., 5G, LTE), and competitive trends.
- Contribute to the development of new RF technologies and intellectual property.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant regulatory standards and certifications (e.g., FCC, ETSI).
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior RF engineers.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field with a specialisation in RF or Microwaves.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in RF design and development.
- Proficiency in RF simulation and design software.
- Hands-on experience with RF test equipment (spectrum analysers, network analysers, signal generators).
- Strong understanding of electromagnetic theory, RF propagation, and matching networks.
