We're looking for a motivated Unified Communications Support Engineer to join our support team in Telford.
What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver high-quality technical support to business customers via phone, email, and remote tools
- Assist with the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of business internet and hosted telephony systems
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to call quality, system configuration, registration failures, and hardware/software problems
- Provide guidance on standard procedures and escalate more complex issues to senior engineers
- Proactively suggest improvements to support tools, documentation, and processes
What You'll Need
- 1-3 years of technical support experience (preferably within telecoms or UC environments)
- knowledge of hosted telephony, IP networking, and connectivity (e.g. routers, VoIP)
- Familiarity with UC platforms such as Gamma Horizon , Cisco Webex , iPECS , or similar
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to simplify technical concepts
- Experience using helpdesk/ticketing systems
- A collaborative, customer-first attitude and ability to stay calm under pressure
