We’re looking for: Community Growth Manager
The Role:The Community Growth Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing community growth campaigns and strategies across Bitfinex social and community channels.
The candidate will be deeply immersed into the Bitfinex community, and seek to stimulate the community with campaigns and conversation that is attuned to our customer base. As an institutional and professional exchange with large and more sophisticated investors, the Community Growth Manager must be able to speak their language, starting conversations and commenting on markets and Bitfinex events in the style that reflects the Bitfinex brand and the mindset of our customers.
It’s a varied role covering everything from community and reputation management/crisis comms and integrated campaigns, working across all our social channels with a following of over 1 million+ people worldwide. The key focus here is community management - working on the frontline, engaging with our community, highlighting both new developments at Bitfinex and current events in the markets. The candidate will also work with other token project management teams to highlight their tokens on Bitfinex as well as seek to engage with KOLs and influencers who can endorse the Bitfinex brand.
Success will be measured by how engaged the community is and the level of growth seen across the Bitfinex channels. You will monitor and present project updates and provide weekly reports to the senior team and the wider marketing team. Your work will be to support the growth and execution of the marketing strategy.
You will be expected to regularly review the efficiency of campaigns and discover new ways to optimise their growth.
Your Day-to-Day:Develop and implement community growth and management strategies that drive community engagement and increase Bitfinex brand awareness and user acquisition.
Conceptualize, categorize, visualize, edit and execute every piece of social content that goes out to the community.
Create and manage social distribution plans and schedules that align with wider marketing and business efforts and the social media manager.
Define and track key performance indicators and use these to report on your strategies and campaigns to the rest of the team and management.
Put our community first, always. Make a positive impact in the hearts of our direct supporters and the larger community. Develop our social customer care strategy in partnership with our support team.
Create synergies with the PR team to initiate joint projects which feature a high integration of social.
Network with industry professionals and influencers through social media outreach and leverage these relationships to benefit our PR and marketing efforts.
Work with our product team to surface valuable customer feedback which can inform new product developments.
Collaborate with Marketing and Product development teams to create social ‘buzz’ regarding new product launches.
3-5 years of work experience in community management/social media management and/or strategy in technology, finance or media.
Demonstrated self-starter, with the ability to work in a team environment with minimal oversight.
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal (only applications in English will be accepted).
Experience prioritising tasks, managing deadlines, adapting with changing priorities, and balancing short-term needs with long-term strategic initiatives.
Proven ability to work in multidisciplinary teams with copywriters, designers, customer support, product managers, etc.
Ability to deal with negative sentiment diplomatically, and convert detractors to supporters.
Ability to use data to communicate and report how social goals, strategy and results, and how these relate to wider business aims.
Ability to work with visuals, simple gifs, PS assets, videos, etc.

Hours:
- li>35 hours (Ability to be flexible including some evening and weekends)
- Monday to Friday 9.00am – 4.30pm
Salary: £27,711 per annum, 3% Contribution to Pension Scheme
Annual Holiday Entitlement: 20 days per annum, plus 8 public holidays.
Probationary Period: 3 Months
Notice period: One calendar month.
Driving Licence: The Role requires applicants to hold a full driving licence and have their own transport use of a car reimbursed via a mileage allowance. The role requires applicants to hold a full Category B driving licence and the ability to drive the organisation’s fleet vehicles is essential to meet operational requirements. A Category D1 licence is advantageous.
DBS Clearance: As this post involves working with vulnerable adults it is necessary for the successful candidate to have suitable Enhanced DBS clearance and Childcare Disqualification Requirement Declaration.
Key Responsibilities
- To est blish and deliver under the direction of the SCDO a wide range of in centre and outreach community activities and projects in response to the community identified needs.
- To publicise and promote community activities and services within the South Denbighshire communities.
- To maintain monitoring records for all community engagement activities that meet the Funding bodies monitoring and reporting requirements of NLCF People and Places III funded programme.
- To provide support and training for local volunteers enabling them to take an active part in the development of the Pengwern Hub, Community Centre.
- To develop effective working relationships with all partners and stakeholders.
- To collaborate with staff from the Local Authority, other voluntary and statutory organisations to achieve “Your Place or Ours- Dee Valley” project outcomes and outputs.
- To ensure the South Denbighshire community service users are engaged and consulted with on a regular basis to ensure that feedback is gathered to allow evaluation and implementation of any required changes to be made by the SCDO.
- To attend relevant training and meetings (these may occasionally be outside normal working hours).
- To treat all service users, staff, volunteers, and board members with equal respect and to perform all duties regarding the Partnership’s Equal Opportunities Policy. < i>To engage with clients in a friendly, courteous, prompt, and appropriate manner, using excellent communication skills and ensuring delivery of high-quality customer service always.
- To use the IT equipment provided, appropriately and effectively.
