What the role involves:

As a Compensation Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and evaluating our compensation programs to ensure they are competitive, equitable, and aligned with the company vision and objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support compensation-related initiatives and provide data-driven insights to inform decision-making.

  • Conduct market research and analysis to benchmark compensation practices and ensure competitiveness.
  • Develop and maintain salary structures and compensation guidelines.
  • Action market pricing requests for new hires, promotions and increases.
  • Analyze internal compensation data to identify trends, disparities, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the annual compensation review process, including merit increases, bonuses, and equity awards.
  • Collaborate with the wider HR team and business leaders on compensation initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with global compensation laws and regulations.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate compensation insights to stakeholders.

Requirements

Who you are:

  • Certified compensation professional or equivalent preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with job pricing and managing incoming compensation requests.
  • Experience in compensation analysis, preferably in a global technology setting.
  • Familiarity with international compensation practices, currency considerations, and global regulations.
  • Knowledge of job evaluation, market pricing, compensation models and regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience with HRIS and compensation platforms such as ADP, Jira and salary.com .
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, HRIS, and compensation tools.
  • Maintains attention to detail in calculations, reports and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple, often time-sensitive projects in a fast-paced environment.

Our dynamic organization is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Senior Compensation & Benefits Analyst to join our Human Resources team on a fully remote basis. This role is crucial for developing, implementing, and managing competitive and equitable compensation and benefits programs that attract, retain, and motivate our diverse workforce. You will be responsible for conducting market research, analyzing compensation data, designing benefit structures, and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis and benchmarking for salary, bonuses, and benefits.
  • Design, implement, and administer company-wide compensation structures, including salary ranges, job grading, and incentive plans.
  • Develop and manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
  • Analyze compensation and benefits data to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on compensation and benefits trends and recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits (e.g., Equal Pay Act).
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and management to advise on compensation-related matters for new hires, promotions, and transfers.
  • Manage the annual salary review and bonus allocation process.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of existing programs and recommend improvements.
  • Develop communication materials to educate employees about their compensation and benefits.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and brokers for benefits administration.
  • Stay current with best practices and emerging trends in compensation and benefits management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation and benefits analysis and administration.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, HRIS systems, and compensation benchmarking tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of compensation principles, legal requirements, and market trends.
  • Experience in designing and managing a variety of employee benefits programs.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage projects effectively in a remote setting.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CCP, GRP) is a plus.
