What You'll Do

The Director - Software Asset and Configuration Management (SACM) is responsible for the creation, implementation, and continuous improvement of BCG's modern, fully automated SACM function. Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership & Platform Vision:
    • Define and deliver the strategy, roadmap, and execution of BCG's global SACM platform.
    • Establish the CMDB as a real-time, trusted system of record for configuration items across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments.
    • Embed SACM capabilities into core IT processes including observability, incident response, service management, and architecture governance.

  • The base salary range for this role is $181,000.00 - $21,000.00

This is an estimated range, however, specific base salaries within the range depend on various factors such as experience and skill set. It is not common for new BCG employees to be hired at the high-end of the salary range. BCG regularly reviews its ranges to ensure market competitiveness.

In addition to your base salary, your total compensation will include a bonus of up to 30% and a generous retirement contribution that starts at 5% and moves to 10% after 2 years.

Address and resolve disputed change requests, reporting to the Project Manager and Project Board as necessary.

  • Contribute to Project Reviews:

Actively participate in contract reviews, audits, and board presentations, offering insights and guidance on change-related issues.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a commercial or contracting role within project environments, with a strong focus on NEC contracts and change management.
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, legal or a related field.
  • Proficiency in NEC3/4 contracts and contract administration software (e.g., FastDraft, CEMAR). Demonstrable experience with P&L and project financials.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to influence stakeholders and manage conflicts effectively.
  • Membership in a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS) is preferred.
  • Adept at handling complex documentation and ensuring strict adherence to compliance standards.

Location : Warwick

Salary: 33,000 to 36,000 plus 5% annual bonus

Contract: 12-month Fixed term contract, working on-site full time

Our client a leading energy provider in the Warwick area has a requirement for a Junior Change Management Engineer to join their team in an exciting and vital transformation period, bringing energy to life. They are passionate about both operating the network safely and providing reliable quality of supply for their customers. At the heart of achieving these outcomes is the effective control and operation of our network.

SCADA systems are critical for the real-time operation of the electricity transmission system, ensuring safety and system security standards are always maintained.

This role is responsible for the continued, reliable operation of the network SCADA solution, establishing and then maintaining new ways of working, planning, and supporting network assets and SCADA solution changes, driving efficiency of tools and data access, whilst maintaining safety, and a deliverable plan of change activities.

The successful candidate will have the following desirable skills and experience; However, training and ongoing support is available:

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Educated to either Electrical HNC or degree level/ ideally in a STEM subject (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) - electrical engineering preferred.
  • Previous Project Management experience
  • Technical understanding of electricity - desirable.
  • Knowledge of Cyber security risks - desirable.
  • Change management and process efficiency ( 6 Sigma/Lean) - desirable.
  • Knowledge of data bases, displays and network modelling.
  • Have high personal standards of work and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all members of the team and stakeholders.
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office applications.
