Construction Litigation Partner – Remote – Up to £200,000 salary
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK’s leading construction litigation practices. Part of a Top 50 UK law firm, this award-winning team is one of the largest contentious construction practices and one of the UK’s most highly ranked.
The firm acts for major contractors, developers, funders, and consultants on complex, high-profile UK and international construction, engineering, and energy disputes. The team is led by a highly regarded partner recognised in both Chambers UK and the Legal 500 and includes numerous ranked individuals with expertise across litigation, adjudication, arbitration, and mediation.
As part of its ambitious UK growth strategy, the firm is seeking experienced Construction Litigation Partners to join on an entirely remote basis. The firm offers genuine opportunities to help shape the practice's future direction.
You’ll be advising on technically challenging disputes across major infrastructure, energy, and commercial projects. You will also contribute to the continued growth of the practice, working closely with colleagues across the UK. The firm offers full administrative, marketing, and paralegal support, as well as a clear pathway to equity partnership.
The Candidate
- Construction Litigation Partner, ideally with a portable client following
- Strong experience and interest in arbitration and alternative dispute resolution
- Commercially aware with enthusiasm for business development and growing a regional profile
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills
- Experience working with major standard-form contracts (JCT, NEC, FIDIC)

Our client's market lading construction practice has ambitious expansion plans, looking to recruit a Contentious Construction Partner.
The team will focus on large-scale high-value construction, engineering, and infrastructure disputes across the UK. The award-winning team covers a broad range of sectors including energy, engineering, waste, real estate development, and infrastructure.
The Construction Partner will have a good understanding of the complex construction contracts and be able to lead on these matters when appropriate, as always as lead on business development opportunities, as well as supervising and delegating work to junior solicitors in the team.
In addition, the successful applicant will be involved in maintaining a close working relationship with and leading on a range of matters on behalf of many household name developers, contractors, and retailers.
The Candidate
- Contentious Construction Lawyer with at least 6 years post-qualification experience from a national law firm
- Commercial acumen and a passion for business development
- Ability to work to deadlines/targets, to prioritise, and manage a varied caseload of construction contracts
- Strong legal and leadership skills with an eye for detail
