Construction Site Supervisor

Job Description
This job isn’t for everyone – and that’s exactly the point.
We’re not looking for someone who wants to sit in the van and “keep an eye” on things. This role is for a seriously organised, switched-on, and respected leader who can handle multiple sites, multiple teams, and multiple challenges — all before lunchtime.
If you don’t thrive on accountability, pressure, and responsibility — scroll on.
If you’re the type who takes ownership, brings order to chaos, and earns the respect of every trade on site — keep reading.
About the Role
As our Site Coordinator, you’ll be the driving force behind the day-to-day delivery of high-end residential projects across North Leeds. You’ll keep multiple sites running smoothly by coordinating trades, managing materials, communicating with clients, and updating the team through Buildertrend.
You’ll know exactly what’s happening on every site at any given time — and more importantly, what needs to happen next. You're the one who keeps it all ticking.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Keeping multiple live sites on track , safe, and running efficiently
- Managing daily progress and schedules through Buildertrend — updates must be accurate, real-time, and detailed
- Knowing exactly who’s on what site and what they’re doing — no guesswork
- Liaising with the office , the Site Manager, and Directors to report progress, flag issues, and propose solutions
- Dealing with customers confidently — providing regular, professional updates to uphold our 5-star reputation
- Keeping sites tidy, compliant, and representing the quality of our brand
- Coordinating deliveries , tracking material use, and minimising waste
- Reducing downtime — monitoring start, finish, and break times across all labour
- Reporting delays, snags, and changes in scope clearly and quickly
- Acting as the link between trades, management, and clients
- Attending and contributing to site reviews and project planning meetings
What You’ll Need to Bring
- No-nonsense mindset : You know how to lead from the front and get things done
- Buildertrend skills (or willingness to learn fast)
- Strong understanding of site trades and construction logistics
- You Must have been involved heavily in the Building game - you need to be able to have technical discussions on site and be able to answer questions which relate to all aspects of a residential build - have you run your own building company with a bricklayer or joinery background?
- Leadership and communication skills — you can manage people, not just processes
- Obsession with detail — you spot what’s missing and fix it
- Calm under pressure — you think clearly and act quickly
Essential Requirements
- Previous construction coordination or site management experience
- Full knowledge of the technical skills on how to build a house - can you answer all technical questions on site? Can you direct all trades (groundworks, bricklaying, joinery, plastering)?
- Strong IT and scheduling skills
- Full UK driving licence and reliable transport
- Based in or near North Leeds
- Clear, confident communication in English (spoken & written)
What You Get
- A role with real impact — you won’t be chasing orders, you’ll be giving them
- A chance to work on high-end, design-led projects
- A spot in a growing company with big plans
- Buildertrend software and the systems to make your life easier — not harder
- A team that listens when you bring new ideas
This Role is for You If.
- You can organise 3 different sites and 6 different trades without breaking a sweat
- You know how to take ownership — and you’re not scared of pressure
- You want more than “just a job” — you want to grow with a company that backs you
- You’re the one everyone trusts to get things done properly
