THE ROLE:
The Market Research Analyst will have the following responsibilities:
- Working under the supervision of more senior members of the data science team to design market research projects with an analytic component (e.g. driver analysis, segmentation, conjoint)
- Performing cleaning and analysis of survey data according to project need – from simple tables to more complex explorations
- Demonstrating a willingness to work co-operatively with others for the overall benefit of the company
- Communicating with clients and colleagues in a confident and articulate manner
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
The ideal Market Research Analyst:
- Good grasp of the R programming language
- Knowledge of other statistical packages and languages such as SPSS would be an advantage

- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to working through code and coding strategies

In this critical role, you'll uncover deep, actionable insights that will directly shape our brand strategy, product development, and marketing communications. We're looking for a master storyteller who can transform data into powerful, clear narratives that inspire action across the business.
Your responsibilities will include.
As our new Head of Consumer Insights, you will:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop a consumer insights roadmap, partner with leadership to answer critical business questions, and champion a data-driven, consumer-centric culture.
- Research & Analysis: Lead all research projects from start to finish—including brand tracking, segmentation, and concept testing—and synthesize data from various sources to build a holistic view of the consumer.
- Brand Partnership: Act as a strategic partner to brand teams by analyzing brand health and helping to refine communications and creative briefs.
- Storytelling & Communication: Transform complex research into clear, influential insights and compelling presentations for all levels of the business.
- Management: Manage the departmental budget and key relationships with external research agencies.
What you’ll bring.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in consumer insights, market research, or a related field, with at least 4+ years in a leadership or management role.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Psychology, Sociology, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proven track record: Can demonstrate business benefits of where insight has been deployed in recommending changes in brand strategy or innovation or creative development that has driven brand growth
- Methodological Expertise: Deep expertise across a full range of qualitative (e.g., focus groups, in-depth interviews, ethnography) and quantitative (e.g., surveys, conjoint analysis, A/B testing, segmentation) research methodologies.
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with a proven ability to interpret and synthesise complex data from disparate sources.
- Business Acumen: Strong commercial awareness and the ability to connect consumer insights directly to business challenges and strategic objectives.
- Marketing expertise: Passionate about marketing and understanding how brands grow. Invests time keeping up to date with latest marketing thinking and is able to give a critical perspective based on the evidence available. Shares that knowledge with senior leaders and is seen as the internal expert by the brand teams.
- Strategic Influencer: This person guides and shapes the direction of others' work through their expertise, thought leadership and vision, rather than through managerial authority
- Communication: World-class communication and storytelling skills. Ability to influence and build consensus among senior executives and cross-functional teams.

A leading UK retailer with a national store network and a major online presence. Alongside its own ranges, the business partners with third‑party brands via its multi‑brand ‘Label’ division. You’ll join the finance analytics team that supports this high‑growth area, providing data‑driven insight to the Home and Fashion categories.
The Role
This is a data‑heavy, commercially focused role reporting to a Finance Manager within the multi‑brand (Label) team. You’ll use advanced SQL and data visualisation (Power BI preferred) to turn large, complex datasets into clear insights for senior stakeholders. Day‑to‑day you’ll analyse sales performance, promotions, inventory and supply‑chain signals to explain ‘what happened’ and ‘what to do next’—helping the business optimise revenue, margin and availability across categories.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the extraction, transformation and analysis of large datasets using SQL (and Databricks/Python where appropriate).
- Build and maintain automated Power BI dashboards and ad‑hoc reports for Home and Fashion stakeholders.
- Assess promotional performance and category trading: quantify uplift, cannibalisation, halo effects and ROI; recommend next actions.

What you’ll do:

- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and be the business facing member of a highly technical team.
- Gather business requirements
- Develop AI/ML modelling using Python in DataBricks for forecasting, outlier analysis and Next Best Action
