Specifically, in the role of the Associate Director, you will:
- Plan and manage medium and large-scale research projects efficiently and creatively
- Take a leading role in one of our biggest clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and optimising opportunities for broadening the scope of the relationship
- Work across a variety of clients, with opportunities to use a mix of methodologies
- Produce winning project proposals by thinking beyond the obvious
- Create engaging presentations, write commercially based conclusions and recommendations and present the findings
- Work collaboratively, demonstrating an inclusive and professional approach to working with colleagues, clients and suppliers at all stages of a project
- Supervise and develop the work of junior researchers through regular feedback, and where appropriate line manage and conduct appraisals
- Learn about the role of neuroscience within research and behavioural science and receive support in applying these techniques.
Requirements
Ideally, we would love it if you have:
- Solid experience of a similar Associate Director role (agency or client-side) working on quantitative projects of different scales. We would welcome hearing from those with some qualitative experience too.
- In-depth understanding and experience of different research techniques, and a desire to explore new ideas and techniques.
- A curiosity in how financial services/travel/automotive can best understand their customers.
- Excellent project management skills and able to work to deadlines, with great attention to detail, including planning, controlling costs and overseeing preparation of presentation material
- Sound research skills and proven experience in designing and delivering complex projects demonstrating expertise in a range of quantitative methodologies
- Strong verbal and written communication, plus solid numerical and analytical skills.
- A creative spark and a real desire to make our findings tell a story.
- Flexible, with the ability to work autonomously as well as playing your part as a member of a high-performing team.
