BOB is seeking a Social Media & Content legend to keep our social channels buzzing and mindshare high, creating and posting a wide variety of content that excites the existing community and encourages new audiences to participate in the ecosystem.

The Social Media & Content Manager will support the BOB Head of Marketing in the development and implementation of the content strategy, including content pillars, channel approach, paid media and measurement. The role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities from monitoring social trends and identifying content opportunities, to managing content creation for BOB and supporting content creation for founder social accounts. 

This is a creative role so skills in design and video are required. Experience with AI workflows in these areas are a big plus to support creative testing and experimentation. BOB has in house design and works with a PR agency, but does not use a creative or social media agency.

Excellent English is a must. This role is on the tools, preparing and posting daily content, replying to the community and working with partners for co-marketing opportunities and ecosystem project promotion. 

The ideal candidate will have strong blockchain experience in a previous role, preferably with an L1 or L2, plus a deep understanding of the Bitcoin and Ethereum communities and key figures. 

The head of marketing is based in the UAE and good timezone overlap will be required. Candidates based in Europe are preferred.


What you will do
  • Strategic planning: Considering BOB’s overall brand strategy and narrative, create a cutting edge social strategy, defining the roles of the various social media platforms and KOLs in the media mix, plus content pillars for each key audience group.
  • Market knowledge: Keep abreast of emerging web3 trends, new narratives, and interesting competitor activity to identify content opportunities, themes and potential partners or emerging KOLs.
  • Content creation: Own the creation of all social media content, including daily heartbeat content and communications plans for product launches, new ecosystem partner announcements and technology updates. This includes copy for posts, visuals, infographics, animations, etc. BOB does not have a creative or social media agency. Creator skills (design, animation, video editing, AI workflows) a large bonus.
  • Project management: Create and maintain an advance calendar of activity on all channels to provide a clear forward facing snapshot of planned content and facilitate easy approvals.
  • Community growth and activation: Recommend and implement growth techniques to engage new and existing audiences on social channels
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the broader marketing and ecosystem team ensure narrative alignment, and build strong relationships with the engineering team to support content creation input.
  • Analysis and reporting: Measurement of the performance of social and content activity on all platforms, plus the completion of monthly reports including recommendations for optimization.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in social media, ideally at a layer 1 or layer 2 blockchain. BOB is a deep technology product so existing blockchain comms experience will be incredibly helpful.
  • Channel knowledge: Deep experience of best practices within all key social platforms.
  • Crypto Savvy: Demonstrated knowledge of and passion for blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and the wider web3 universe. Candidates with experience covering both the Bitcoin and Ethereum ecosystems will likely be favoured. 
  • Technical appreciation: Ability to talk with engineers/developers and understand the detailed benefits of BOB’s products and protocols to enable quality content creation.
  • Collaboration: Experienced at working in cross-functional teams and building strong relationships with stakeholders. 
  • Communication Mastery: Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distil complex concepts down and present them clearly. English fluency is a must. Other languages are a bonus.

Day to Day

  • Develop and execute a robust, multi-channel content strategy aligned with the wider marketing plan.
  • Create and manage a dynamic content calendar focused on business priorities and audience needs.
  • Write, edit, and optimise high-quality content for digital campaigns, website, social media, and internal communications.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (product, consultants, sales, leadership) to translate technical insights into engaging, accessible messaging.
  • Lead content elements of integrated marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with SEO and demand generation goals.
  • Work with digital and performance teams to measure content effectiveness and optimise based on analytics and engagement data.
  • Maintain brand consistency and ensure content adheres to tone of voice, style guides, and industry best practices.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor content strategies, and evolving digital formats.

YOU?

  • 3+ years of experience in a B2B content or marketing role
  • Proven ability to write compelling, high-quality content tailored to different buyer personas and stages of the funnel
  • Strategic mindset with hands-on experience delivering content that supports lead generation, brand awareness, and thought leadership
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in using content management systems, email marketing platforms, and analytics tools
  • SEO knowledge and understanding of content performance metrics.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a collaborative, proactive working style

About the role.

We are looking for an Agile Content Manager to join us for a 1-year maternity cover! You will be responsible for planning, creating and executing digital content.

Responsibilities include

  • Plan, create, and execute compelling B2C digital content across multiple platforms (web, social, etc.)
  • Edit and optimise AI-generated content
  • Manage workflows and sprint cycles in Asana, ensuring timely delivery across content projects
  • Collaborate with our Brand & Comms team to align content with SEO strategy and company OKRs
  • Use first-party data insights to inform and refine content strategy
  • Join weekly strategy sessions in our London office with the Head of SEO and Head of Growth Marketing

Requirements

A little bit about you.
We’d really like to hear from you, if you have

    • Exceptional writing and editing skills in English
    • Solid experience in agile content delivery , including sprint cycles and iterative planning
    • Highly organised with strong project management experience (Asana, Monday.com or similar tools)
    • Skilled at interpreting large data sets and translating insights into engaging content
    • Experience scaling content (think boosting content pieces from 20 to 40 in a month!)
    • Proven experience across multiple content platforms (e.g. blogs, social, podcast, web, email)
    • A collaborative mindset with a hunger to experiment, test and grow
    • Have worked with AI tools in a creative or editorial capacity
