Social & Content Marketing Manager - Fast Growing Food-tech Startup

London, London Growth Kitchen

Job Description

About Growth Kitchen

Eating in 2025 is like eating in 1955. We shop for ingredients, cook and waste lots of ingredients in the process. Food delivery is significantly better, however, ordering is too expensive and the best restaurants are often not available where we live. Ordering is a treat - not an everyday, personalised commidity. Growth Kitchen is on a mission to change that. We want the best restaurants to be available everywhere and to become as cheap as McDonald's through scale and automation.

Our platform enables kitchen operators (e.g. Hilton Hotel) to sell well-known restaurant brands, such as The Athenian or Coqfighter from their existing kitchens. Although we've raised significant investments and we're a profitable business, we're still a young and small team. We are now looking for someone to help us supercharge our marketing capabilities.

The Role

We’re looking for a scrappy, creative and hands-on content marketer to tell our story — and our brands’ stories — in ways that actually cut through. This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes social media, knows what’s trending before it hits TikTok, and can turn a scroll into a customer with the right creatives.

You’ll be Growth Kitchen’s in-house content engine, with the freedom to try bold ideas, shoot and edit content yourself, and work directly with some of the UK’s most loved restaurant brands.

Requirements

What You’ll Do
  • Own marketing plans for partner brands (like the Athenian and Coqfighter) across local, digital, and national campaigns
  • Test and launch campaigns across social, content, paid, print, email, PR and more — both UK-wide, and city-specific
  • Create engaging, on-brand social and video content
  • Build Growth Kitchen’s own brand through storytelling, social media, and strategic PR
  • Create scroll-stopping content -  film, edit, and publish social-first video (especially short-form) that drives brand awareness and orders
  • Own our social channels — plan and run the content calendar for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and more
  • Understand the audience — make content that resonates with food lovers, restaurant owners, and kitchen partners
  • Work directly with founders and senior partners — fast feedback, fast impact
Who You Are
  • You’ve created high-quality, high-performing social content — whether for a startup, food brand, or yourself
  • You know how to shoot and edit video fast, using tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Canva, or your phone
  • You’re obsessed with food, branding, and social trends
  • You’ve got a bias towards action — you're hands-on, fast-moving, and love trying things that might not scale (yet)
  • You care about helping small businesses grow and want to work somewhere with purpose and pace
  • You thrive in a startup — juggling priorities, working independently, and making things happen quickly
Nice to Have
  • Experience growing a consumer or food brand
  • Experience running local marketing or managing agencies/freelancers/influencers

Benefits

Why Join Us?
  • Direct impact on the future of food and hospitality
  • Huge ownership and variety — work across brand, growth, product, and content
  • Competitive salary + equity
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Pension, ClassPass, and more

Want to help build the next generation of restaurant brands?
Apply now — we’d love to meet you.
