Success in this role requires deep cultural knowledge, excellent linguistic skills, and a thorough understanding of marketing communications.



Please note that this is a London-based role and requires presence 5 days in the office.



Key job responsibilities

* Apply native-level expertise in Italian to localize and transcreate marketing content, utilizing quality assurance tools and metrics to ensure excellence

* Review and validate localized and transcreated content for linguistic accuracy, cultural appropriateness, and adherence to style guidelines, including identification and correction of any grammatical or contextual errors

* Collaborate with the Localization Project Manager to maintain project timelines and ensure consistent, high-quality deliverables across all marketplaces

* Develop and maintain terminology databases and style guides for Italian markets, ensuring standardization of language assets

* Adapt source content for target markets, considering regional product availability, cultural sensitivities, and local business practices

* Engage with corporate and partner teams in-country to understand and address localization issues

* Manage routine escalations as needed

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in foreign languages, translation studies or linguistics (or equivalent experience of at least 1-2 years in localization or subtitling) for Italian

- Speak, write, and read fluently in English

- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications

Preferred Qualifications

- Ability to deliver results and prioritize tasks in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

- Ability to apply critical thinking and provide insights while working with creative content.

- Technical experience with localization and terminology platforms and tools, such as GlobalLink, Trados, and MemoQ
