About the role
We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Product Artefact Content Specialist to join our team as we develop and expand our new end-to-end credit management application, PRISM.
In this role, you'll be at the heart of translating complex technical and business information into clear, structured, and accessible artefacts for a wide range of audiences; from developers and business analysts to end users and clients. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product & Technology experts, to create a comprehensive library of multi-format materials enabling people to understand and use the application.

Your responsibilities
- Collaborate and support the establishment of the PRISM Artefacts Team, developing best practices for documentation, version control, and content management.
- Create and maintain a full suite of artefacts across the following categories:
o Product Documentation : feature descriptions, roadmap summaries, capability overviews
o Technical Documentation : infrastructure and environment diagrams, API descriptions, integration notes, data flow schematics.
o Maintenance Guides: system upkeep instructions, release notes, patching procedures.
o User / Training Guides: manuals, onboarding guides, tutorials, quick-reference sheets, Q&A frameworks.
o Frameworks: key principles and models that help guide the design and standardize processes across teams.
o Policies: compliance and governance documentation relating to the use and management of the application.
- Interview subject matter experts and team members to gather information for documentation.
- Contribute to workshops and meetings, capturing Artefact requirements and creating content.
- Ensure all content is well-structured, versioned, searchable, and accessible across platforms.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of content workflows, templates, and tone of voice.

- Create, update and deliver high quality automated legal forms and precedents for use by law firms.
- Use of dedicated automaton tools using the latest Microsoft technology to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with organisational standards.
- Utilise JavaScript to enhance the functionality and interactivity of our forms and precedents, enabling dynamic content and customised user experiences (full training provided).

Requirements
What you'll do
- Research forms, legislation, and legal processes relevant to Criminal Law.
- Create, update, and deliver high quality automated legal forms and precedents for use by law firms.
- Use of dedicated automaton tools using the latest Microsoft technology to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with organisational standards.
- Utilise JavaScript to enhance the functionality and interactivity of our forms and precedents, enabling dynamic content and customised user experiences (full training provided).
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure forms function correctly with the software, validating data entry fields, JavaScript elements, and fixing any issues that arise.
- Develop and maintain an outstanding knowledge of LEAP & its companion products.
- Promote use of LEAP products & drive adoption in Criminal Law.
- Ensure LEAP’s processes comply with up-to-date legislation within Criminal Law.
- Attend industry events to speak with existing customers and build strong relationships.
What you'll bring
- 1-2 years’ experience working within Criminal Law.
- Very comfortable using Microsoft Word.
- Experience with case management systems and document automation systems would be advantageous.
- A passion for technology.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal); skilled in dealing sensitively with clients.
- A strong attention to detail.

Legal Content Specialist, Manchester office
- You will be instrumental in shaping our offering and ensuring LEAP’s position as the best Criminal Law software solution in the UK market.
- Alongside the Head of Criminal Law, you will identify opportunities for future development and content projects to enhance the end consumer experience, developing and delivering new forms and precedents to improve usage, engaging with customers and other stakeholders to source feedback, and reporting KPI’s to the team.
- Permanent, Full-time, hybrid working model: 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
