About the Role
The Editorial and Content Strategy Director will shape and lead Elsevier's global editorial strategy, aligning storytelling across internal and external communications to bring our brand and value story to life. This role partners closely with business segments to ensure content aligns with brand principles and business goals. The ideal candidate brings strong writing skills, experience managing content in complex, matrixed organizations, and a track record of building coherent brand presence through strategic, measurable storytelling.
Responsibilities
+ Develop and maintain a 12-month rolling editorial calendar in coordination with global communications and business segments.
+ Create content strategies that ensure impactful and resonant brand messaging. Optimize content for efficiency and return on investment using performance data.

About this role
We are looking for a Senior Producer, Global Content Development to join our Creative Networks team.
Reporting to the Chief Content Officer, Development, this role will be assigned specific territories, and the successful candidate will take responsibility for the implementation of the department’s development and creative strategy.
Global Content Development is focused on strengthening, consolidating, and boosting Banijay Unscripted pipeline.

**Your New Role**
Ensuring a holistic approach is taken to the EMEA Content Roll on HBO Max EMEA in collaboration with the other Directors and VP of Content Planning as well as the wider content organisation.

Play a pivotal role in both the strategic development and tactical rollout of the Max content offering across EMEA, from launch through to BAU operations. Collaborate closely with regional creative leads to **to** **opportunistically plan local EMEA original within the holistic OP/global series calendar** making informed editorial decisions based on performance data, market insights, and global direction.
Prepare and present content plans, insights, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, ensuring alignment, visibility, and buy-in across multiple stakeholders. + Build, motivate and manage a team of regional Content Planning Managers in TBC Markets - identify best practices and encourage continuous improvement across the team.
+ Leading local regional managers in the EMEA Content Planning team ensuring the content strategy for EMEA, both from a local and EMEA perspective is clear and communicated to all.
+ Leading the team in driving and defining the ultimate EMEA and local proposition based on customer needs and consumption data.

**Skills and Experience Required**

We have a fantastic opportunity for a proactive, detail-oriented Digital Content Executive to join our friendly Digital Experience team.
The role is offered on a fixed-term basis of 12 months. We support hybrid working but will require a regular presence in our Bournemouth office.
This is an engaging, creative role, in which you’ll be responsible for building and optimising digital content across our websites and portals, by using approved content and producing new content.

Key Responsibilities
- Building and publishing content using our CMS tools, applying UX and SEO best practices.
- Utilising existing content, approved assets, or stakeholder inputs to structure and deliver live pages.
- Identifying key opportunities to improve processes and enhance content.
- Ensuring consistency with templates, components, and responsive design practices by applying brand tone of voice, accessibility, formatting, and clear messaging to each piece of work.
- Creating, editing, and adapting digital content, with a focus on creating a positive user experience.
- Collaborating with the Senior Manager and UX team to develop new content, or improvements/updates to existing content and working with product and design teams to align content with the overall digital experience.
- Delivering appropriate solutions and enhancements within time and budget restraints.
- Understanding online and offline marketing activity to drive excellent user experiences.
- Managing internal stakeholder feedback and building strong working relationships with stakeholders.
- Partnering with the performance and SEO teams to review analytics and support with making improvements.
- Monitoring key content KPIs such as bounce rate, engagement, and conversions.
- Contributing to sprint planning, content stand-ups, and planning sessions.
- Carrying out content quality assurance, ensuring that content appears clearly and is correctly formatted for users on a variety of devices.
- Supporting the upkeep of content documentation and version control.
About You
Our ideal candidate will…
- Have good experience of working with a CMS platform in a digital publishing or digital copywriting environment.
- Be proficient in using CMS platforms (e.g., Sitecore, Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress).
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of digital content structure, accessibility, and user experience principles.
- Be able to write and adapt clear, concise, and user-focused web content.
- Understand the basics of SEO and web performance metrics.
- Pay attention to detail, be highly organised, and able to work effectively within a fast-paced digital environment.

Are you a creative storyteller with a camera in one hand and a strategy in the other? We’re looking for a Digital Content Officer to help bring the Chichester College Group’s brand to life through engaging video, photography, and digital content.
As part of our in-house Marketing & Communications team, you’ll create content that inspires future students, engages stakeholders, and showcases the heart of our colleges, across websites, socials, and digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities of our Digital Content Officer:
Collaboration:
- Establish a detailed knowledge of the Group’s audiences, markets and courses and develop content to raise awareness and engage with students, stakeholders and employers li>Maintain an awareness of course programmes, events and the Group calendar and maximise the promotional opportunities that arise from these opportunities
- Supporting the Digital Content Team Leader in the planning, development and distribution of digital communications and content
- Work alongside the Marketing and Communications Teams to help develop and contribute content to support campaigns, events and communication opportunities, ensuring digital content is integrated into all strategic marketing campaigns
- Support the Communications Team to build the alumni network and to create associated content to help improve student recruitment
Content Creation:
- Develop original and engaging video/online content and suggest creative ways to attract more customers and expand the audience reach
- Work independently with curriculum, support departments, the Students’ Union and students to proactively seek out, research and create content from good news and success stories, student activities, course highlights and high-profile events < i>Re-purpose content for different audiences and channels, ensuring that voice, tone, values and branding are consistent, and content adheres to the Group's style guide
- Attend internal and external events to gather content to promote the Group to prospective students
- Digital Strategy & Analytics
- Develop and distribute reports using analytics to demonstrate the impact digital content and engagement
- Keep skills up-to-date and continue to develop depth and breadth of knowledge, staying abreast of external communications best practice. Keep up-to-date with digital marketing trends and emerging platforms
Administration:
- Provide advice and training to colleagues across the Group on best practices on how to create film and video content
- Complete administrative tasks to plan manage content projects, compliance, and usage – GDPR, photo consent etc < i>Organise and maintain the Marketing department's library of video content and images, sourcing and commissioning additional videography and photography where required.
Our ideal Digital Content Officer should have the following skills and experience:
- li>Experience of planning, managing and producing video and photographic content
- Experience working with a wide range of people to obtain high-quality and accurate content
- Experience adding content to websites and social media platforms
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Outlook
- Outstanding written, proofing and editing skills and ability to convey messages in a clear and compelling way, tailored according to the audience < i>Photography and video production and editing skills
- Level 3 qualification(s) in related subject(s) e.g., IT, Communications, English
- Honours Degree or a professional marketing / communication qualification, or willingness to undertake a relevant qualification or relevant industry experience
