Primary Responsibilities:

  • Define and develop solutions to enforce least privilege access policies
  • Implement and manage access controls, including role-based access control (RBAC)
  • Monitoring, logging, and analyzing system performance using Azure operations suite to maintain system health and optimize costs
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery and data backup strategies and solutions to maintain business continuity
  • Collaborate with development teams to enable CI/CD pipelines for efficient software deployment using Azure services
  • Establish and maintain cloud identity governance frameworks
  • Develop and maintain guardrails to enforce/measure IAM cloud compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Conduct periodic access reviews and monitor user activity
  • Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives
  • Advise on best practices for cloud security, reliability, and scalability
  • Drive innovation and discovery efforts around new Azure features and services
  • Participates in the development of prototypes and large-scale proof of concepts
  • Maintain knowledgeable around current application security controls

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a relevant subject OR equivalent experience
  • Experience as a security-focused DevOps
  • Hands-on experience deploying and operating resources in Azure and AWS
  • Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IAC) and experience working with CI/CD technologies such as git and Terraform
  • Hands-on experience in Entra ID and Entra Connect Sync
  • Hands-on experience developing and managing Organization policies
  • Hands-on experience with federation technologies and protocols such as SAML, OAuth, OIDC, etc.
  • Proven experience operating with cloud platforms, APIs and event-driven automation
  • Proficient with popular scripting and programming language frameworks such as Python, Microsoft Graph PowerShell SDK, Microsoft Graph API, Shell Scripting languages

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working experience in AWS Identity and Access Management, multi-factor authentication, user provisioning, service principal governance/management, privileged Identity management (PIM), single sign-on (SSO), domain management
  • Working experience with Cloud IAM functionality across multiple public cloud services (IAM Roles, Permissions and Policies)
  • Experience Implementing and managing Cloud Infrastructure Entitlement Management (CIEM) to meet organizational access and security objectives
  • Hold a fundamental understanding of PHI/PII data and the restrictions around it using limited data sets/de-identified data for analysis/development and testing where applicable
  • Certifications: CompTIA Security+, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Security Engineer Associate, Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, Azure Fundamentals, AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Security (Specialty), CCSP or similar

In this role you’ll be:

Working as part of the Central Tech Team, you will contribute to multiple projects in development at Supermassive Games, enabling teams to create and deliver games across all consoles and PC platforms.

This role will be based in one of our three central Guildford offices - each a short distance from the main train station. We’re passionate about the collaborative environment here at Supermassive Games where we work to a hybrid model in many of our roles. Requirements

The main responsibilities will be:

  • Using in depth knowledge of build systems to design, implement, and maintain Supermassive Games’ CI and CD systems and pipelines.
  • Collaborating with the other members of the Central Tech Team to supply the highest level of service possible.
  • Working closely with game and engine programmers across the various project teams to support the projects through their development cycle.
  • Be innovative when opportunities arise, be conservative when sensible.
  • Take responsibility for your own work and contribute to an environment where others feel enabled to do the same.

Experience and skills that would best suit this position:

  • CI/CD build systems, e.g., TeamCity (Kotlin), Jenkins (JobDSL/Groovy), Buildkite - previous experience with build systems is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of Source Control software, e.g., Perforce - our build systems are tightly integrated with Perforce, so relevant experience is desired.
  • Python can be picked up on the job by the right person, but prior knowledge would put you ahead.
  • AAA game development, e.g., Unreal or Unity - previous experience working with build systems for modern AAA games engines is an advantage.

In this role you will collaborate closely with our expert in-house tech team to support and develop our proprietary game engine, Asura. You'll play a key part in maintaining and improving our internal build pipelines, automated testing systems, and asset processing tools.

This role is based at our riverside headquarters in Oxford, offering a creative and relaxed atmosphere where teamwork drives our success. Responsibilities :

  • Assist in developing and improving automation solutions.
  • Help enhance developer workflows.

  • Analyse, communicate, and assist with build results and issues.
